The best hotel in the Japan trip, very comfortable with the best view of river! Will live here again, very good memories here.

The staff & manager were really helpful, polite and well spoken in english!

The beds are quite hard.

Great location at the riverside (excellent for bird-watching from the balcony). Close to many Kyoto sights and restaurant area. Very spacious and fully equipped, with kitchen and washing-machine. Pleasant, helpful and efficent staff (Alex and the others). Excellent place to stay for several days for a family of four.

Great location and large space

Really lovely location overlooking the River. So nice to have such a spacious apartment and a balcony to sit and watch the world go by. The apartment was well located and easy to access shops, restaurants and train station. The staff were super helpful and even went out of their way to recommend restaurants in a message for me when I asked about a good ramen place.

There were a couple of nights that we were woken up with really loud movements/walking around from the floor below? The beds were pretty firm.

The location can't be beat! It was such a lovely spot... the neighborhood, the view, the little restaurants down the street. We were on the 5th floor facing the river. Very accessible by walking, taxi or subway. When we were at the apartment we would sit and watch the ducks, herons, hawks and fish from the balcony. The views of Kyoto and the mountains are beautiful. The room was so spacious and comfortable. The staff was very nice.

The beds and pillows were very firm for us. A little shelf in the kitchen for our food would have been a nice addition.

The place is more of a ryokan style w/ serene riverfront. Good for family w/ most amenities available. The front desk Eric & Vincent are awesome & very accommodating. Place near Gion district and 17 -20 mins walk to Nishiki market.

It’s a bit of 20-25 mins walk from kyoto station . If you have luggage better take a taxi -1,200-1500 yen or bus.

The location was perfect, facilities nicely maintained with a bonus of river facing balcony. The front desk was friendly.

Great location near Higashiyama district. Walkable within 15-20 min to famous Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka streets near Kiyomizu Temple. Loved having a washer to clean clothes in the middle of our trip. Apartment was very spacious with 1 double bed and 2 tatami beds for kids. Having separate toilet and sink area was also nice for us. Overall recommend!

the dryer function did not work as well so we had to hang dry or dry for 3+ hours but it was a lifesaver to have w/d.

Our rooms were large and comfortable, with a great view of the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
