The rooms are too close together paper thin walls ..here most things ..

the high location with a sweeping view of the valley below and the sea beyond makes this hotel very special.

major building work at neighboring property made lot of noise during day. it will go on for several months we think. nothing altamar can do.

fantastic view from the "D-152" apartment. Big/large terrace. Great staff (cleaning and reception) Ventilator in the ceiling in both bedroom and living room. Great value at fair price.

a few small cockroaches in the bathroom, but we got them out. You can expect this in many hotels in GC. construction site noise from opposite the hotel (hardly their fault or anything they can do about that) The music from the entertainment area in the evenings could be just a little bit lower for our taste.

We loved the room, comfy with a huge balcony. The view is lovely. The staff was nice, especially the cleaning lady we met and the gentleman who fixed the lamp cover that broke while we were out, the receptionist who recommended restaurants. The restaurant of the hotel and the staff there was nice too, and we happened to witness live entertainment too. Oh, and the cats around are cute as well.

Parking was uncomfortable as you always had to ask for the key on reception, go back to the parking area unlock the chain, park or unpark and get the key back to reception. Also getting to our room was a bit uncomfy too - had to walk all the way to the end, take the lift down and walk halfway back to where our room was. The lift was usually quite busy.

Extremely loud night-time entertainment that ruins the atmosphere of a amazing location. Having scooter playing at full volume and a presenter talking about people being "off there tits" wasn't really the best. Took what would of been a 9/10 stay to a 6/10 stay
