We love this hotel and have stayed a few times. The staff are lovely and friendly, the room was great with a very cosy bed. The food is really delicious and plentiful. The location is great and easy to get to.

Es gibt einen separaten Parkplatz auf dem Hinterhof mit genügend Platz. Bei Ankunft waren alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett und freundlich und wir haben das Zimmer 219 erhalten. Das Bett war sehr bequem und nicht zu hart oder zu weich. Das Badezimmer war sehr modern und schick. Das Frühstück muss ich an dieser Stelle wirklich loben. Es war ein reichhaltiges und vielfältiges Buffet im Hotelrestaurant, dass keine Wünsche offen ließ und sogar frischen Orangensaft bot.
Das Zimmer war mit dem Fenster zum Hinterhof ausgerichtet. Wenn wir aus dem Fenster schauten, sah man auf Müllberge. Zudem war es furchtbar laut und hat sehr stark nach Frittierfett gerochen. Wir denken es befand sich die Küche unter uns. Das gesamte Gebäude ist sehr hellhörig und nichts für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf. Im Wasserkocher war noch altes Wasser enthalten. Die Dusche hat einen solch schwachen Druck gehabt, dass es die doppelte Zeit benötigt hat, weil das Wasser nur tröpfelte.

The staff were brilliant, the breakfast was good! The room I was in was a double and was a good size.
The hot water in the bathroom sink was scalding hot very quickly. The taxi service used by the hotel was hopelessly unreliable! The bathroom could be doing with an upgrade!

A bit of a downer was the fight between barman and customer on Friday Night in residents bar. That was upsetting

Excellent night away at the Kees Hotel. Brilliant value for money 💰 staff are so friendly and helpful. A lovely warm atmosphere in the bar and food is excellent. Look forward to our next stay in the Kees Hotel Stranorlor

The shower in our room hadnt been cleaned from previous guests who had the room. The noise from what we assumed was the central heating boiler was very loud, which was slightly annoying. Other than that all good, will go back again.

It was very quiet that Thurs night so an empty cold feel to some extent, of course only Feb and not many around foyer/bar.
We arrived down quite late 8.30 for evening meal, it was very quiet at that time, I had 10 oz steak it was quite expensive I thought and my steak was not as well cooked as I would have liked (med to well) but I was able to eat it and it was quite late so I was not prepared to send it back for further cooking, overall OK.

lovely property. staff were excellent. food was good but the chicken chorizo stack was poor. a bit of a mess with so much onion things. others had different things and all were very happy. the cod dinner was 1st class. great atmosphere with friendly staff.
ceilings show signs of leaks. windows to front don’t seal properly. you could hear the cars to much. but out from those small things we had no issues. great stay.

we had a great stay with a brilliant warm room and cosy bed. Breakfast and dinner both delicious. Staff very friendly. We have stayed before and will do so again. The location is very central.

One thing I'd mention that was annoying was the creaky floorboards from above, we new it wasn't the customers fault but it was constance...😬😭

General hotel was good bar food ect and bed was comfortable
The room itself was a let down. Room 310 miles away from the main hotel and room in poor condition and very dated.

The twin room was great, fairly basic but close to bar and restaurant clean and spacious and comfortable. Confrtable beds and good shower.

First time to stay here and we will definately be back very soon. Such a friendly, welcoming, relaxing place to stay. Staff were just the best. The food was outstanding, would return even just for a meal.
The fact we were there for just 1 nite was the only thing we didnt like😒 But will book for 2 nights next time 👍
