We loved our stay in this beautifully appointed, quiet suite that's just minutes from town. The view of the valley is gorgeous, and the guest suite opens on to a lovely garden with patio furniture. Leslie is a friendly, helpful, and thoughtful host who cares about guests having a pleasant experience in Lake Cowichan. We enjoyed meeting Oliver the Cat on his outdoor rounds, and even Callie the Cat too! Highly recommended.

Location, views, garden, internal decor, thoughtful inclusions, complimentary Netflix service, outdoor seating, bbq, on-site parking. It was very comfortable and homely. Highly recommend it.

Not really a criticism because I knew I was booking a sofa bed, but they are never quite as comfy as a regular bed.

Peaceful, private accommodation with lots of room. Loved the outside space and easy access to the town.

Amazing views over the valley and up to the mountains. Everything is brand new and high spec. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need including tea, coffee, spices, etc.

The property was on the ideal location for walking! it had everything and more that we could’ve wanted and Leslie and Paul couldn’t have been any nicer! They were super helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were okay!

We stayed during a Hockey Tournament it was perfect. Close to the arena, quiet, comfortable and the soaker tub was PERFECT after the cold arena. We will definitely be back!

The suite was so beautiful and clean. It was well stocked with everything you could need and the hosts were wonderful. Can't wait to stay again 😊

I've stayed at many places at lake Cowichan through the years and this by far is one of my all time favourites! It's super clean, spacious, and private. The hosts are very friendly and respectful of your space. They genuinely care if you are comfortable and enjoying your vacation. Lots of extra touches such as; games, books, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, laundry, Netflix and a freezer full of ice and a good working barbecue make this to the top of my list. The binder of tourist info was excellent. I've been coming to the lake for years and got to explore some new walking and hiking trails. The view and sunsets are spectacular! You instantly feel the stress melt away as you take in all the beauty. Just amazing. Can't wait to return.!😊

Bed in the bedroom was too soft for us, but others may like it. Pullout couch could use a foam topper, as the springs are very uncomfortable even for young children.

The property is set up like a fancy hotel. Modern, clean, comfortable. Fantastic view of the valley from the living-room window. The patio outside the front door, fire pit in the garden, and little collection of toys and books for children, were very pleasant "extra" features.

My wife, one-year-old son and I had a spectacular long weekend at Lake View. The accommodation was very well appointed (the pictures do not do it justice), especially the kitchen. We like to cook, and had everything we could have asked for and more! In a COVID19 world, cleanliness is key, especially if you have an infant crawling all over. Both my wife and I were 100% satisfied with the cleanliness. Also, a special highlight was the evening campfire looking at the starts. If you stay, make sure you take advantage of this unique perk.
