Newly rennovated, very clean suite, all new fixtures and amenities. Excellent bathroom with walk-in shower. Nice kitchenette with complimentary coffee, coffeemaker, kettle, microwave, fridge and plates/cutlery etc. . Easy to book with self check-in via text and/or email with owner.

We stayed here as part of our bike tour across Vancouver Island. The queen bed barely fit in the room, but the room was clean and even had a refrigerator (not expected). No office, check in is online (l love the locks!).

This was a pleasant surprise. We weren’t sure what to expect, but the room was enchanting. Things look to have been redecorated recently. I was a bit surprised there was no air-conditioning, and completely surprised there was no hairdryer. I would have brought one had I known. Those two things aside, I would definitely stay here again. Good value for the money.

The room was very small, but super clean and comfortable. Make sure you know what type of room you are buying. I thought I booked the large room with the sofa and kitchenette, I did not. The delux room is the small room. It all worked out. If you stay here consider having breakfast at the Country Mart Grocery Store, their food is excellent.

The management was incredibly accommodating to me needs when I made a mistake in booking. They went above and beyond to help me out and the stay was perfect. Will definitely be staying with them again next summer.

Comfy bed and quiet - slept well. Nicely refurbished too. A great location for tubing on the River.

Very clean, but nowhere to sit, had to leave the window open for circulation but many people walked right by and looked in. I dont recall seeing anything that described the room as micro but that may have been my mistake. It would have been nice to have a couple chairs to sit on outside, maybe have a drink instead of having to leave. Overall… too cramped for our liking. Getting around the bed, trying not to hit the tv and trying to find an outlet for the coffee maker were just a bit frustrating. Contactless check in and out was good with good communication.

Amazing motel! Would highly recommend! Clean, comfortable, in a lovely area - with all the mod cons you’d want and Tim Horton’s coffee pods! The owners responded in a timely manner with all access information - couldn’t complain! Our nicest accommodation whilst on the island. Book now!!

The children loved the peacock that visits. It is overall a great place to stay.

Mattress was so soft for me. I have a back pain and I can’t sleep on the soft mattress. Also, no hair dryer was there

If you're traveling without cell service, make sure you get internet somewhere on the day of your arrival because that's how/when you'll receive your check in info. There's no office/reception, you get your room number and lock code. Worked fine for us. Also make sure you know what you're looking for because the modern gray building is set perpendicular to the road, and there's a light colored sketch looking apartment building facing the road near the Motel sign. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Room was clean, modern, had everything we needed.

Recently remodeled, check in process was simple and efficient for later arrivals, room was very nice and well appointed, bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. The only negative was that the room was very warm, it was a warm day in the area, and it didn’t really ever cool off even with the ceiling fans running. The fans were helpful and maybe if they’d been running before we go there it would have helped. Overall it was an excellent stay and we’d definitely go back and stay again.

Recently renovated and decorated nicely! Loved this super cute motel. No contact, easy to manage everything, had a great stay. We loved the ceiling fans in the rooms (thank you!!) Close to restaurants and local shops.

This motel has no front desk so the idea is that it is supposed to email each guest with their check in details, including the door entry code, but I didn't receive this because I booked through Expedia. I contacted Expedia but they didn't help. I showed up at the motel at check in time anyway and thankfully there was someone who could help me get in. The room itself was comfortable and looked recently renovated. The smoke alarm kept beeping, keeping me awake at night. The television was complicated but I managed to watch YouTube on it. The location was great and the price for the room was reasonable.

Our stay at south shore motel was absolutely delightful. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. We found the room very nice, clean and freshly painted from the smell. But were disappointed about the T.V. not being able to watch and there were no instructions on how to get anything on T.V. Other than that, a very quiet and comfortable place to stay
