First of all they greeted us with a wonderful desert that was just made. It was delicious. They were friendly and the breakfast was very good. Very nice place😊

The coffee and tea maker were not working well just at the time we were there but that is all.

Breakfast was amazing, one of my top 10 hotel breakfasts ever. The room was huge and lovely - there's radio in the bathroom! Loved the shower especially. We were also served a delicious sandwich upon return one night - they could not have been kinder.

A bit hot in our room until we figured out how to open the windows from the top.

Staff was great and the facility was nice.

Bed was too soft, single chair in room too small.

First and foremost the staff: Amazing! Super friendly, very familiar environment and we even got to eat some cake at the time of arrival. Good location, not far away from Garmisch (by car) in a very calm village. Definitely recommended.

The owners here treated us like family, always kind and willing to make us happy, including our little dog Hodu. The property is even better than the pictures. It is very cozy and has a ton of character. The owners even gave us snacks daily like my now favorite snack a buttered pretzel! We would stay here again!

everything but especially the owner and staff who were most warm and welcoming. the owner who also bakes, makes wonderful pastries for breakfast and on the second night when we came back late from dinner, he had his cheese cake waiting for us! hi wonderful is that!!

The people who run this hotel are very friendly and welcoming. We were offered some snacks like butter cream cake and a Bavarian sandwich upon arriving at the hotel. At the breakfast, they were happy to inform us about all the homemade products and so on. We really appreciated their extensive breakfast buffet. The room was really spacious and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The location was perfect for us. Near the center of a small town with some restaurants, but still quiet. The Kuhfluchtwasserfälle are only a ten minutes walk from the hotel and the beautiful nature south of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is only a 15 minute drive. We hiked through the Höllentalklamm, which we can really recommend.

There isn't a lot of parking space, but you can park along the road, so this isn't really an issue. We didn't find any shower gel (only hand soap), which we did expect at an hotel like this. Or maybe we just missed it. But also no problem as we brought our own.

All was good as described. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Clean and tidy. Unexpected surpise from hoster due to late arrival we were offered sandwitch. Also if you will eat breakfast and will be looking for an egg they will be inside the metalic hen.

It was a wonderful stay. We all, especially our 7-year-old daughter, liked the cozy and comfortable rooms. In the lap of nature and mountains and very close to several hiking trails and the river. The staffs were very welcoming and gave us a very nice treat (a lot of food) after our check-in. The breakfast was also very nice. Definitely want to come back again.

Clean room, parking, breakfast, friendly staff

The attic family room (two rooms with a connecting entry and bathroom) were perfect for our family of five. Plenty of storage, quiet, comfy beds. There was even a bed in a nook that my six year old loved. Convenient location to Garmisch and Oberammergau. Delicious breakfast!

A small complaint: the attic rooms were hot when we arrived. Perhaps open the windows earlier to help keep it cool?
