The hotel is in an excellent location whether one has a car or not. We used the bus to go into the town which goes every 15 minutes. The hotel is very relaxed and staff super friendly. The food is fantastic, fine dining quality.

Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist top. Wir haben in sehr modernen, renovierten Zimmern übernachtet. Das Hotel liegt etwas auswärts, aber in ca. 20 Gehminuten erreicht man das kulturelle Stadtzentrum, das jede Menge zu bieten hat. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich. Besonders lecker waren die frisch gepressten Säfte und regionalen Spezialitäten!

Excellent hotel, the pool area and the breakfast was excellent. Probably one of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in. The staff were excellent and friendly.

Good sized room, secure bike storage facility available, good terrace area, honesty bar service was good. Most of the staff were very kind and nice.

We hired road bikes for the duration of our stay but was told the secure bike storage spaces were full and as we did not notify the hotel before our arrival that we would have bikes with us, it is our fault. As bike storage was listed as a service on the hotel’s website and it was not stated on the hotel website or on the hotel’s page on booking.com that we had to make such request prior to arrival, I argued that it is not the guest’s fault for not knowing that this is a requirement. If it was a requirement, I suggested that the hotel could’ve either made it clear on their listing and / or messaged guests beforehand to check. The reply I received from the receptionist was that this is a suggestion I have to make to booking.com and it is not the hotel’s responsibility. It all caused for unnecessarily unpleasant and time wasting experience and I maintain that guests cannot be expected to know of a requirement they are not notified of. Having said all this, the staff were quick to find a solution within the day and found us alternative bike storage space. The manager also apologised for this encounter and generally the staff have been very kind and nice. The fridge in our room was leaking when we arrived but this was also quickly rectified. It is a 20-30 min walk to Girona old town. There is a bus service but it can be infrequent.
