Placed next to generator for the kitchen. could not sleep even with earplugs. I was moved the next day next to a generator for the gym, again could not sleep even with earplugs. Then cancelled my final night due to the experience. And was then unfairly reimbursed for it.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Good location. Good size bedroom.

Climbing into the bath to have a shower. People smoking and socialising by the front door until the early hours of the morning. The noise from this carried up and through the single glazed windows which were very draughty. An open smoking área with no cover! Too slow, entering the dining área for breakfast.

Reception staff were great. All other staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and facilities good, apart from the limitations mentioned above.

It is difficult to leave an objective review in Corona virus times. The paper/plastic cups in the bedroom, and lack of drinking glasses wasn't great, in that the following night we stayed at another Holiday Inn, in the same Corona virus tier, and all the normal facilities were available. At the Peterborough Holiday Inn, the bathroom was tired, and needs some updating. The food for dinner was average, and was phone and collect, and take to your room yourself, but the staff brought up the drinks.

Friendly staff, good location, quiet Very pleased.

My partner being given a meat burger, after requesting a veggie burger. He felt distressed, felt sick, so he didn't accept the replacement. I was followed in the lift by an ill homeless guy. Very scary and intimidating. I ran to a stairwell to hide from him. I now have a severe sore throat, but not sure if it is related or not. Plus, two other minor faults.

Problem with bath rail led to serious fall. Nothing hurt long term, staff dealt with accident well

Seemed a little difficult to regulate room temperature. Often felt that air conditioning was not cool enough.

The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and fresh and the rooms were light and airy.

I would have preferred a softer pillow - a very minor thing.

The rooms are appalling and looked unclean and the facilities are very old. i asked for a kind size room and they gave me a room with two adjoining bed. Also the toilets and shower so old crusty looking

First of all, the staff were superb. The front desk, the bar and the staff at breakfast. All very helpful and friendly. 10 out of 10 for you all in our opinion. The breakfast itself was also very good. The room was comfortable, all be it perhaps dated and showing signs of wear & tear. Good location for we needed and easy to find.

We had booked two rooms originally and pre-paid. Then 3 weeks before our stay we had to call to request some form of refund on 1 room as it was not needed. Circumstance out of our control. Thinking 3 weeks would have been enough advance notice, perhaps they could re-occupy the room. We didn't really expect a full refund, however something would have been nice or even a gesture of good will, a transfer to use another time / or a voucher to use elsewhere in the group. We have used Holiday Inn many times before this across the UK, although not so sure now. We felt it was a reasonable request, but there was zero flexibility by the hotel management. We were left very disappointed by that. The room itself was ok. However it is a dated hotel. Clear to see investment / refurb or just a deep clean is needed. If you do book this hotel in advance, we would suggest not paying up in full. If your situation changes, like ours did, the hotel management are not very helpful in that scenario.

Amazing!!! Really nice area slot of Greenery. Nice & clean! Staff were amazing!!! It was my husband bday & they went above & aboard to make him feel special free vouchers for drinks freebies in the Room & balloons! Also gave us a room near the leisure centre!!!

Comfy, quiet room in pleasant near-to- woodland setting. Friendly reception staff and other guests. Nice large, modern reception area and plenty of parking. Pleasantly surprised with Peterborough city centre in evening with plenty of venues for eating out and, likewise, restaurant in hotel also seemed well-used and welcoming.

Nothing, handy for overnight stay. All was fine.
