1: loud music at night till midnight 2: bed was very hard 3: many staff had no english at all , so was very difficult to ask questions 3: wide variety of food on offer for breakfast , however any western style , eg bread roll, was very stale . 4: blue paint from pool came off on our skin . 5: tea served at breakfast was cold , i asked three times for a hot cup of tea. Seemed too difficult ☹️

Great central location

Room had little drawer space, pool paint came off onto you wherever you touched it. Staff at breakfast could not understand requests well. Could not get a hot cup of tea and premade food not hot. Front entrance had no ramp for luggage. Club floor food was minimal

Nice staff, excellent location

Check in was smooth. Front reception staff was polite and helpful. Courteous staff. Excellent welcome a good start to our 1sr day in Vietnam.

Stayed a further 3 days. Housekeeping was great. Hotel staff all round fm breakfast at the restaurant to the bell hops, doormen, etc were all excellent. Facilities and fixtures in the room were all fine. Great location to walk to many places.

老舗ホテルのせいだろうか、フロントスタッフの対応が「30年前の中国国営ホテル」のような横柄さだった。 予約時点で人数を間違えていたので、到着5日前にBooking.comのホテル直通メールで修正し「カップルである」ことを知らせているのに、「そんなメールは来ていない」と言い張り、こちらの不備だけを非難する態度だった。 翌日PCでBooking.comの画面を見せようとしたが「何を言っている！」という態度で画面を見ようともしない。 実に不愉快なホテルフロント（男性）だった。 4泊したが、ルームクリーニングでもトイレットペーパーが全く無くなっているのに補充していなかった。 フロントで伝えると直ぐに対応はしてもらえた。 バスルームも設備自体が古いので、シャワーとバスタブ用の切替弁が上手く作動せず、シャワーヘッドからボタボタと漏れいる。 シャワーカーテンの清掃が毎日不十分で、「雑巾のような匂い」が残っていた。 朝食は品数が多くサラダの野菜なども食べやすくカットされ、その他の食材も上品に見栄え良く調理されていて、ネット上の「良い評価」は間違いなかった。 ただ、レストランのスタッフも接客にあまり積極的ではなく、笑顔が無く、自分の目の前の仕事だけを気にして、客を見ていないので、ホスピタリティーが感じられなかった。

INCREDIBLY NOISY LOCATION UNTIL 2-3 am almost impossible to sleep

Excellent location. Close to everything. Staffs are nice.

Also the location, next to the Gang so loud party noise til mid night. Breakfast is so so. Facility is clean but quite old, especially the lift & room keys.

Great location, with a slightly old world charm, easy and value for money upgrade, clean, comfortable and easy access to all the great joints in District 1, a good walkabout and sense of safety too for solo travelers. Staff are friendly, service-oriented and always helpful. Food wise was ok, didn't really feel the Vietnamese selections, room coffee facilities can be better. There's access to Vietnamese coffee everywhere nearby, the Cafe Apartments is just opposite, Ben Tranh Market a walking distance, McDonald's just down the street, and Starbucks, Coffee Bean just next door. Around the corner there's Katinat Coffee, Ann Quan Vietnamese food, Madame Quyen (yummy pho!), Highland Coffee.

Room coffee facilities was bare minimum, 2 sachets of instant coffee (and not even Vietnamese coffee) and tea bags. That's it. Also, because it is facing the famous Pedestrian Walk, weekend party music can be heard till 4am in the morning. So be prepared. Though nothing much can be done.

Access to shops very connivence for guest. Clean environment.

Access cards seems to have problem, need to seek for assistance for both rooms. Gym timing can be close later as some guest like me work out after 8pm...

The entrance to the property is spectacular. you feel like you are entering a 5 star hotel

The rooms were very dated. There were no electrical outlets in convenient spots, nothing next to the beds.

easy booking process, check in, very friendly, Smily staff. impeccable service room was spacious, great to spread out suitcases. bathroom was big and practical. perfect location right in the heart of the city, prime location during the Viettel Y Fest!! breakfast: great variety of food

noise coming in through the single glaze windows. Y fest aside, its right on the boulevard and its noisy and busy 24/7 great aircon but blowing straight towards the bed. breakfast bread was not fresh. ageing room and bathroom (carpet, shower in bathtub, lights and aircon controls, power plugs not all working)

The very loud music from the bar next door. Volume was at an extreme level and windows are not soundproof nor were they sealed properly. We were told we had been upgraded but we're grateful to be downgraded to a smaller but quieter room that cost more?

from top to bottom people in the reception and the way that we’re looking at me I can say all of them. trying to push rooms that should be in a 2/3 star hotel in the last floor. After my strong complain they let us stay in the same room and promise when we will be back in a few days will give me a nice room which they did it

The hotel itself was fine, with no complaints at all about the service provided.

The location appeared to be very good - close to amenities. What transpired was an open air night club right under my window that was so loud I couldn't even listen to the television in my room. I wore earplugs each night, but still only got to sleep when the music stopped at about 1 am. Not very conducive considering i was on a work trip and needed to be up at 6 am each morning.

location is great because of traffic free street right in front especially at night . it is the centre of a weekly fair with thousands of young locals enjoying themselves

Hotel was in a very good location, close to plenty of shops and restaurants and within walking distance of 2 shopping center's. The staff was friendly and very helpful in booking tours.

The only downside to the room was that it was right next to a restaurant that became a night club every night, if you can look past blaring music coming into your room until midnight, then its fine.
