the location was great and very close to leading local attractions. lot of restaurants and street food was close by.

Booked this last minute as we had to cancel another hotel. Overall the quality of 4 star hotels in Patong beach is not great and this was decent for what we paid but I would not rate it 4 star. Its a little dated but is going through an upgrade which many rooms being refrubished so I can imagine when that is done they will look lovely. Room I had was functional, clean and great space and nicely decorated. Mini bar was handy and room service was good. Typical pricing for the area too and was avaialbel 24 hours which was great. Overall hotel was clean and in great location so cant fault of any that. Would have prefererred higher floor rooms as per our request but it was a last minute booking so happy they could accomadate us. Pools were good and clean. Only had one meal and drink here, didnt have breakfast so cant say much about food but what we did eat was tasty and many options to choose from.

Room allocation on the bottom floor was too close to resturant and could hear everything, music in morning and guests coming and going. Second room was at end of hall and right beside kitchen/satff doorway which had constant traffic through it. Balconies/patios looked out to a wall which should be at least clean area and a paint could go a long way. Kept windowns closed. Sky pool area and bar needs a massive refurb, its old and tired and sparse. Not in anyway inviting to want to go for a drink up therE. Resturant was empthy every single time i passed it which does not entice me to want to go there either. Many staff lack basic english which made it hard to communciate. Many rooms being upgraded which is great to see.. Ground pool area is nice but do not like the fact that its right by main driveway. Not much they can do about that however. Bed was pretty uncomfortable and need some USB sockets.

lovely rooftop pool, especially around sun set. room was comfortable, large and clean. staff were very helpful and polite. laundry service was good, if slightly expensive. breakfast was pleasant and there was a good range.

there should be a shower rail in the bathroom and the gym could do with some more equipment eg barbells or leg workout machines.

The hotel is super, very clean, the staff is always friendly!

Location was very good. 5 mins walk from all the main areas. Massage and shops around the corner and Bangla Rd nearby.

Thought Pool area and Bar area could have been a little more inviting.

I’ve stayed at the Amata 3 times in the last 18 months I’ve found your price increase in that time is getting out of reach I’ve been a regular visitor and I think I should get a better price

Great location close to Jungceylon and Bangla but still quiet. Nice room, kept very clean. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast has good selection but I found regularly many elements empty or cold.

Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Room is good w.r.t. monetary value. Location is 10 min walk from the beach and 5 min from Bangla road. For shopping and restaurant availability, this hotel is in very good location.

Number of items might be more in breakfast.
