The location is good, the rooms are nice.

The staff at the reception just doesn’t care. No one speaks English and doesn’t even try to explain anything. My room card was blocked at the middle of the stay, because they needed to take the money. Why not do it why I checked in or when I’ll be checking out???? No apologies, nothing. Everyone constantly looks tired and unfriendly, talks to you like you own them something. Doesn’t seem like Holiday Inn at all to me. Felt like I was staying at some cheap motel. The breakfast place was crowded, nowhere to sit (understandable, as it was during the Chinese holidays), I asked if I can take the food and eat on my room. The answer is simple: NO. So I was staying and waiting in line with a plate of food in my hands)))) I think this type of treatment is unacceptable in the international hotels.

The bed was really comfortable and breakfast was fresh and frequently replenished. The location is about a 30 minute walk from Wuhou temple, I've already been to the temple on a prior visit but it's just a really cool area to explore.

I don't understand why there's so much inconsistency with the charging of deposits, most of the time I don't have to pay a deposit but sometimes an employee decides to charge and obscene deposit that costs more then my room fees. What do you think I'm going to do in there?! Steal the bed???? The room was very dated, and the breakfast was sub-par and lacking in Western items.

Good location

Breakfast is poor quality for foreigner and vegetarian! Meat in most food, water down juice and low quality yoghurt and coffee. only option left was eating bread everyday.

the room is clean and quiet, the shower water is hot and nice to use 24 hrs. the hotel has a very good location. nothing to complain about.

the only thing probably is about the lighting. lighting is a bit dark at night especially the lighting in the bathroom, Cleanliness could be better, but it is still ok for staying 3-4 days.

An average 3-star hotel that has all the essential facilities expected from a hotel carrying the Holiday Inn logo.

For a franchise of Holiday Inn, the front desk staff was poorly trained and inexperienced. Three of the four at the front desk were always trainees and none spoke any English, nor were they equipped with any translation app, so common in modern China. Our payment, made in full prior to check-in, could not be traced by the staff and we faced embarrassment and lost a lot of our tourism time arranging proof of payment from Booking.com and our bank. Even these documentary proofs were not accepted and we had to arrange an email from Booking.com to convince them. This episode ruined our 2 night stay. The hotel management, of course apologised and even discounted our stay by one day's tariff, but the damage to our itinerary had been done. They could do with more training for their front-office staff.
