We stayed in a room on the top floor and had views of the castle on one side and the other through a rooftop window. Magical! The shower heads were fantastic, with a high pressure option for tired muscles. The breakfast was served at our own table in the little dining room, with a boiled egg, cold cuts, cheeses, cherry tomatoes as well as yoghurt and cornflakes. The bread was exceptional. super soft and crusty every morning. we would definitely stay again, as it was also super close to all the attractions. we also really appreciate the host, who was helpful and very friendly.

if you have mobility issues, the stairs to the first or second floor could be an issue.

The host was gracious and spoke English which helped us determine we were at the right place and she provided us with enough information about what to expect of our stay. She graciously provided us options for breakfast times and then allowed us (my bff and I) to have our own space and time to sleep and visit nearby castles in the early morning hours. We stayed in room 5, which had its own balcony, sofa, chairs, closet for coats and our own bathroom with shower. the room was very comfortable, warm and had fantastic “old world” charm. It was humbling to learn that her daughter was stateside and planned to be visiting my home state at some point as well. The breakfast was great and provided enough energy to last until dinner; breakfast included rolls, a meat and cheese variety, a boiled egg, coffee, cream, sugar, yogurt, cereal and milk or oats and milk, juice or water. simple check in and simple check out and ALL WITH A VIEW OF A CASTLE! The floors creaked, the windows/outside door needed to be handled gently and the bed felt amazing. I would recommend this chalet to anyone, anytime. it was gold 🥰

Quaint and surrounded by so much beauty. AND the host was so nice.

Pension has a very good location. Nice staff, fresh pastries every morning. Free parking, heating and hot water all the time (stay in half november)

The mattresses are in a very bad condition. During our stay (2 nights) no one came to refill the hygiene supplies or empty the trash can Unfortunately, every restaurant in the village was closed at 6.p.m., only one restaurant until 8.p.m.. (closed all day during the stay).

Location was great. Bedding was ok.

Bed was real low, breakfast was OK but not real good. Water pressure in shower is bad. It got very hot at times.

Nothing I don't like

Excellent location. The manager Zoran was phenomenal. Excellent view of the Castle and mountains. Quiet place. I heard the sound of the hens singing early. Really satisfying.

The mattress is not of good quality. I suffered to sleep. I think it was springs and not comfortable. The duvet was small. Hairdryer very weak.

It is a very cozy Bed&Breakfast. We had a good size room and balcony with view of the Neuschwanstein Castle and beautiful surrounding landscape. Super breakfast, parking included in the price and walking distance to the castle. Nothing to complain. Very fair price.

The coffee was cold and limited. I am a coffee lover

Room was very clean, the place was carefully arranged to give a very cozy feeling, nice view of the castle from the room, easy access to tourist attractions in the area

Nice location, cute house, cozy room, they let us enter a bit earlier, and we could leave our bags in the garage. Staff friendly. View of the castle.

The personalised touch is missing: biscuits and tea promised reduced to 5 wet supermarket biscuits on a plate, cheap tea bags downstairs and water from the kettle in your room, breakfast is there but cheap, same for the deco, no shampoo/body wash, no advice from the staff, even when asked about restaurant

The location and the view. The castle was visible from the bedroom. They also allowed us to park our car till late after checkout when we visited the Castle.

Dated and more casual but was to be expected. For what it is, it was quite nice and completely fulfilled our needs as a place to spend just one night. It does indeed have a wonderful of the castle and it’s one of the few hotels in the area at the base of the castle that was open in January. The owner was very nice and everything was clean and we had everything we needed in the room. The water pressure was actually just fine, which was a pleasant surprise.

Limited private parking, but there is plenty of other parking nearby. The driveway was completely iced over in the winter and actually quite a hazard to get from the car to the door especially with luggage. Creaky floors but again, it’s an old classical building so to be expected.

The lady checking us in was pleasant and accommodating. Paid for our room as we checked in. Breakfast was okay.

The room had no fan. Bathroom was small. No hair dryer offered. Towels are not new fresh. Not sure how clean our toilet was, when we opened the lid there was pubic hair on the toilet seat - so very questionable to how clean the room was. Defo not worth the money. yes it may be close to the castle but there are much nicer accommodation nearby. We stayed our Hotel Muller the night before which was really pleasant but we couldn’t stay an additional night there so we ended up staying here for the 2nd night.
