The breakfast was great.
The room looked a bit updated.

Dirt in the bathroom and on the towels , the bed looked dubious we left a day early and took another hotel

Location of the hotel was excellent.
We were supposedly upgraded in our room to a room which had a balcony. The balcony was scruffy and had not been swept it was also shared with another room no privacy screen just plants (we did not use the balcony).The patio door handle in the room was completely broken and came off in your hand the door could not be shut securely and kept fully opening (we were advised that there was an issue with the patio door but we did not realise how bad it was until we had been shown to the room and, payment for our stay had already been taken upon our arrival!)we eventually had to put some cardboard between the door and frame to secure as the door would just open fully day/night. We had not booked breakfast in our original booking and upon arrival we asked if we could have breakfast. We were advised that there was an issue with breakfast they could not provide this as per the hotel's advertisment at the present time due to clients that were staying in the hotel, we were advised we could have the breakfast which was provided for them at no charge although this was not suitable and a disappointment. No refreshment facilities in room.

Location is wonderful. Just 2 minutes walk to the U bahnhof and 15 minutes walk to the Tonhalle. Also staff is amazing, and by staff I mean Mr. Marcel who upgraded my room as a generous gesture and also offered me a city ticket to use all means of transportation for free :)
Looks like they don't fix things immediately; for example the balcony door lock was damaged. But, they was a small thing. The overall experience was amazing.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect. It's a short and pleasant walk to Konigsallee through the park, and all the shops and food outlets you need are just across the road. The Nordstrasse metro stop is 1 minute away.

Excellent location - close to the city center, in a quiet area with a big garden. A pass for all city/region transport was included, it's really useful! Old beautiful building, really good breakfast and coffee!
There's no elevator in this building, but in general it's not a problem.

The breakfast was really excellent, the variety of breads, jam, sausage, cheese and vegetables is great. Scrambles egg was served at the table. NIce fruit deserts and yoghurt. Also they offer freshly pressed orange juice, coffee and good quality tea.
The staff was very friendly and the room not big but of adequate size. Very clean and excellent value for money.

Location, value, breakfast (variated enough), staff is one of the best staffs I have ever met, VRR card for public transport. This hotel has been a very good surprised, I have ever come back to Westfalia area, I will stay there again for sure.
You can sometimes hear your neighbours as the walls between rooms may be very thin, not much though cuz people is not noisy, at least my neighbors.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in for a while. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We all received a free pass for the public transport for the days that we stayed in Dusseldorf. It was easy to get around and very fast on the tram and metro Little touches like haribo bears on the pillows was a nice touch. The shower and bath were nice, good stream of water and enough hot water. The room was very clean. It is an older building but it has alot of charm. There was a new drinks frdige installed in the lobby while I was there so it is possible to buy cold drinks. We did not have breakfast while we stayed but I wish I could have tried because it smelt amazing every morning as we left to head into the city. I will definetly be staying here again.

Great staff. It is a basic hotel but its clean, location is good and the value for money is spot on. Its a great hotel for groups of friends etc
