Very friendly owners. Great traditional building, with its own car park. Very easy to find. Close to the cable car, a big supermarket and a couple of coffee shops and restaurants. Good breakfast. Comfortable room and bed.

Shared toilet and shower room and toilet on the the floor above. No TV in room and just looking out at a wall at the back, but my choice to go for the cheapest room! Bit of a hike from the town centre if you're not too good at walking, though the whole of Bad Gastein is very steep for walking.

Very good location close to the railway station, Stubnerkogel cable car and thermal pools. Family atmosphere. Homemade apple jam for breakfast. Extremely nice and helpful hosts.

I would appreciate more fresh vegetables and fruits for breakfast.

Friendly family run business. Very close to Waterful (via the back way) the Spa and the Strubnerkogalbahn for a great trip up the mountain. Separate enclosed balcony.

Breakfast choices were a bit limited but t was included in a very reasonable tariff so we were grateful for what was offered. No soap or shampoo in bathroom.

Great location and room quality for a good price. The lady of the house is very nice. The breakfast is fine, although the variety of the food isn't large. Parking is large and the place is easy to find. Also very close to the city centre, ski lift, shop and the waterfall.

The breakfast was very good, the landlord was preparing it herself, readily made extra cocoa for kids. Great location with mountain scenery seen from the balcony.

Almost only hot water was flowing in the bathroom (3rd floor).

The position of the hotel is excellente, just behind the central railway station and everything is in close proximity. The breakfast served in the morning is good considering the price you pay. All in all, is a good value for your money.

The room I stayed in is in need of renovation.

Very well located, close to station, close to thermal spa. I liked the interiors, with vintage vibes - the furniture, paintings and lot of decor. Its really nice. Rooms were very comfortable with enough space.

I don't understand how on booking the evaluation is so high, in fact on other sites is definitely lower and realistic. I think the worst bed I ever slept (the bit I could) because I woke up many times since it was very soft (with very soft I mean old and used, to be replaced) the cushion is almost non-existent and the bed sheets were missing, only the duvet, so it was or too hot or too cold. No tv in room (even if on booking was present), they don't want credit card but just cash and they didn't give me receipt, I had to ask and after some excuses they gave me it. Cleaning not good, I found a used medical patch on the bedside table. Breakfast sufficient. Ok the price is cheap, I didn't expect much but at least a decent bed where to sleep yes.
