Structure too expensive for what it offers. For lunch an open sandwich...if you ask for a box lunch, having paid full boardthey, want to charge you extra. They want to charge you for safari drinks: unheard of! Booked excursion at 6 a.m. and the guide arrived 40 minutes late

The staff and facility far exceeded our expectations. The lodge is more than willing to accommodate any requirements that we requested.

Dated bedrooms which needed an upgrade. Game drives were poor and excursions were very poor value.

easy to reach, even without a 4wd, after the heavy rains the days before there was a lot more water than expected, but everything was green and nature was exploding. A birders paradise, but you see a lot more animals and plants. The excursion/game drives were just great, we did book them at the lodge, but we took every chance to go out with Hayden, to see the huge biodiversity of iSimangaliso. Great to hang loose at the pool area, but hard to make a nap, so much to hear and see. Food is very good and the location the best in iSimangaliso, very relaxed atmosphere.
