It was a brief stay. My room was lovely if not small. Very old feel and ambiance. Great swimming pool!
Lovely breakfast.
Very nice Irish French manager!
The breakfast room is a bit out of character to rest of the hotel. Dark and pokey!
A lot of noise with nearby building work.

We loved everything at this charming hotel with its lovely garden. Great breakfast with everything you could want - fresh fruit croissants bread, home made cake and more. It was perfect for us.
Can't think of anything!

the photos depicted a more rural area, the hotel was in town with building works opposite

Very charming hotel near the centre. Room very comfortable, pool lovely for the hot weather, great breakfast!
Lots of charm, yes, but just needs a little TLC as some maintenance needed. However, despite that, I would definitely stay again.

Secure carpark and not to far from the centre, safe in room, as the property is quite old it has its own charm, room was a decent size, bed comfortable, nice quiet area, the staff were nice and friendly
Gravel in the carpark got stuck in my shoes and spread in the room "ouch", tap dripping and toilet seat not fixed properly, toilet roll not replenished

Very friendly manager, nice and clean room.

Nothing , it was awful !!!
The room was like a prison cell, very little natural light, broken toilet seat , no bottled water , no box off tissues, no way of getting out of the bath as it has no where to grip on to, no clip to hold the shower head so you couldn’t take a shower . The breakfast buffet was awful, with bad fruit in the bowl & a very poor selection of foods .
The outside area’s were a mess and were covered in dead leaves & weeds !
Also right next to the Hotel was a large construction site with a huge crane that passed right over the hotel and construction work commenced at 7.30am every morning.
There is no parking around the hotel and the hotel then charge you €10 a day to park your car !!! 😤

Beautiful little hotel with a lovely garden. Kids loved the cosy pool area and the pet tortoise wandering around the property. Friendly and easy-going staff. Vence old town is just few minutes walk away, it's a compact and lively place with many nice restaurants and cafes. We visited in early June and it didn't feel too touristic. We stayed just for one night, but could have easily spent few more days. We travelled by local bus from Nice, very cheap (1,5€ ticket) and easy as the hotel is only 5min walk from the bus station.
Hotel is not located in the most picturesque area of the city, but we didn't mind as it has nice view of the surrounding mountains and the location is very practical. There was a construction site nearby, but we didn't really notice it travelling with two loud kids. For a romantic getaway it could have been an annoyance.

very friendly welcoming staff and the room was nice with a comfy bed and a powerful shower
a lovely hotel with nice garden and sun beds - pretty outside area
the location was central for vence - but so noisy and with building site all around
it was a real shock how close the huge cranes and massive concrete buildings going up hemming in this hotel - also a really busy town - not aa I had hoped

I picked a room that was a little small; I should have opted for something larger.

Easy access to sea front.Excellent breakfast.

The location was fantastic, the room was bright and comfortable and the shower had great heat and pressure. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the pool area is a real sun trap! Also, the staff were very helpful and polite, it was really nice to have passionate hosts who were enthusiastic about the property.
Be quick with the breakfast pastries! The croissants are likely to go quickly as they are delicious!

Friendly staff (one lady), but understaffed.
Breakfast started at 8 am. At 0810 there were no croissants left! Very dry baguettes! Expected fresh from local bakery, but nothing was fresh. Had breakfast elsewhere for remaining of stay.
No cleaning of room and toiletts.

Great location with easy access to the old town of Vence. It was worth paying the additional fee for the convenience of private parking.
We were unable to access the wifi during our stay.

Really nice garden, private internal parking, a small but cute room, a good breakfast in a beautiful villa within 5-10 mins walking distance to the old town.

the charm of the hotel and it was even nice to explain things in my rusty French because the receptionist did not speak any other language

Perfect place to explore Vence. Two night stay with my two boys in room 4 - two connected rooms each with their own full bathroom/shower. The layout was smart and thoughtful, meeting a traveller’s every need. The breakfast was fantastic in the European way: breads, cheeses, meats, cakes and pastries, fruits, juices, coffees. An absolute deal in terms of cost.

The bed was comfortable
The room is furnished in an outdated manner, there is no design touch or attention to the small details that give the feeling of a vacation. The internet in the room did not worked despite attempts to address the problem.
There is no water pressure in the shower.
Feels like a hostel at the price of a hotel.
We Will not recomand this hotel .

I liked everything! The hosts were lovely, the breakfast was perfect. It was quiet. The location is good - you can walk in 10 minutes into town for dinner. Parking was secure.
The only most tiny detail I can think of, which is really telling you how much I liked the place, is that the hot drink cups in the room were so small! It is fine for espresso but to drink tea, a bigger cup would be good. That's it! Everything else I loved.

The location and proximity to the chapel designed by Matisse (10 minute walk from hotel)
I miss the old management - they were a lot friendlier and more kind.

I liked that it was close to the venue where my friend was having their wedding
It was so bad I left early for a different hotel. I disliked so much about my experience here, I don't know where to begin. However, I had 2 main issues. 1) The staff was extremely rude and didn't care at all about personal safety of guests. For example, I arrived, and even though I paid for 2 guests to stay in our room, they only gave me 1 key. When I asked why, they said the former tenant had taken the key with him and there was nothing they could do. Not only was this extremely inconvenient the entire stay since my friend and I had to coordinate every entrance/exit, but there was also a random person that had full access to our room and the staff made no effort to remedy the situation after I told them I felt unsafe. 2) The WiFi is horrendous and barely workable for personal use, let alone work use. I could barely answer emails or get web pages to load, let alone stream anything or have video calls.
I couldn't recommend this hotel LESS and would stay elsewhere.

The breakfast was generous the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the pool area and its ideally located for walking into Vence and getting a bus down to Paul de Vence. I would say this hotel is a great budget option, I would have preferred a room in the main Villa so I would request that if its an option.
Our room felt a little tired and dark, but i did choose the budget option it turns out. We had an issue with the lights but i emailed the staff and they came and rectified the issue.
