The hotel is right in the city centre Comode bed and pillows

The room although modern was not well maintained: There was mould in the shower, the shower hose leaked, the phone didn’t work and was sticky to the touch, the bathroom door had splinters coming off it, no power outlets on one side of the bed, and the air-con controls weren’t working. There was no shampoo and no body wash available, only hand wash, when asked the receptionist said there were none available. Slippers cost £3 each pair, which I didn’t expect since we paid £360 for 3 nights in low season.

Breakfast excellent, reception staff excellent, ideal location for the bullring and shopping. right next to moor street station made travelling locally but further afield easy too. very comfy bed, and room facilities were good

bar shut at 11:30pm and many residents were caught out because there was no warning, one of the bar staff refused us a coffee on our return but served beer to the lads on the next table 10 mins later, then her supervisor then berated her in front of the guests. Although the duty manager then proceeded to make it right after, the senior staff member wasn't spoken to about it.

Location. Bed was comfortable

Room was a bit basic. Phone did not work at all. Couldn’t open door when room service arrived and couldn’t have rung down to reception as phone didn’t work. TV picture was bad in that it kept flickering and going blank. Water in bathroom sink took ages to clear and there was a bit of mould in the overflow hole. Would prefer a proper menu to order room service. Not everyone has a mobile phone or is proficient enough to use it to order food. Only 1 toilet roll in the bathroom.

The shower was nice and hot

The room was not cleaned properly bin wasn't emptied, biscuits and teas was not restocked after being used. Hotel breakfast gave my partner food poisoning which left him violently ill for 72 hours.

Room was really nice and clean, the bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Very good location as well, a lot in walking distance. Interior was lovely, not just in the rooms. Bag holding facility before check-in and after check-out was great.

Breakfast was rather expensive, was told there were vegan options but there really was not a lot of choice other than fruit for that. Only a small degree range in temperature control, made it a tiny bit difficult to find a comfortable temperature for the room overnight.
