the location is perfect if you want to enjoy some peace and quiet. very family friendly and kind. We were lucky and got a room upgrade with a garden. While it might not have sea view, it is protected and safe for kids. we never had to worry about our daughter being on the patio by herself.

- The only thing is that restaurant was quite good but not as excellent as the rest of hotel. But it was totally adequate!

They have thought of everything to make your stay as best it can possibly be right down to supplying a beach bag and flip flops. there’s a free mini bar and even a little treat left in rooms at night

We booked a sea view room with terrace so that we could appreciate the stunning view. We chose to have the buffet breakfast each day which had plenty of choice, and even though the hotel was virtually full, it never seemed crowded and we could always sit outside on the first floor terrace. All the staff, without exception, were extremely pleasant and helpful. The position of the hotel is outstanding and and makes it very special, we have stayed in several hotels in Port de Soller, and this is by far the best.

Our room was smaller than we would have liked, I think that by having a terrace we had inadvertently compromised on the size of the room, but in fairness to the hotel this was classed as a standard sea view room with terrace, and there are larger rooms, something I would consider when re-visiting. The bedroom would benefit from having a dressing table with mirror above, and improved ventilation in the bathroom, one shower turns it into a sauna.

Well designed, friendly, relaxed, brilliant location right on the beach. Not too busy generally, good atmosphere. Other guests were not noisy. Family pool meant that you could relax with kids in the pool. Brilliant for restaurants and cafe's nearby. Lovely views from top pool, gorgeous up there in early evening sunset. Lots of balconies to watch sea and boats coming and going. Our garden terrace room was lovely and cool and was nice to sit in the room and look out at the garden. Staff leave nice treats and make sure the free mini bar is restocked every evening - they also come and tidy the room a bit and make beds again if you're not in there in the evening. The room itself was really spacious and well considered. Beds really comfortable.

The only thing I'd say is that the kids pool is a bit small but it wouldn't stop us going back there again.

Love, love, love this hotel. Beautiful interior design, gorgeous views of the bay and terrific sunsets from the balcony. Delicious, relaxing breakfast al fresco. Zero issues with overcrowding or flow of people around the breakfast buffet. Delicious food served poolside and in the restaurant. Lovely spa and gym. Fabulous roof top pool for families and a stunning adult only infinity pool on the upper level. Plenty of sun loungers on various levels. Love the complimentary drinks vouchers upon arrival, the beach bag with flip flops, complimentary mini bar and daily treats. A superb place to relax & unwind. We had to amend our holiday last minute as our daughter had to undergo emergency surgery. The hotel was so understanding and flexible. Amazing service. This is why we will continue to return. The Esplendido has maintained its high standards for many years.
