The location is very good, very close to the beach and the entrance of Manuel Antonio park! It offers a pool, so very pleasant to spent time there. The stuff very friendly and the room was clean. Would recommend it if the goal is to visit Manuel Antonio.
Our room was noisy from inside by people talking or stuff cleaning and from the trucks passing by the street. We visited mid May and the area was very quiet. But it looks very touristy, so in a busy period I wouldn't stay in the neighborhood if not for visiting Manuel Antonio.

The beds are the best! The pool is small but clean. The fruit with the free breakfast was good.
Needed something in the shower to keep the water in. Remote for AC didn’t work with AC - not a battery problem. With the free breakfast, you get what you pay for.

This is a true boutique hotel that has all the accomodations in a great location. The Patio area is covered and decorated beautifully. It would rain in the evenings. We could sit in the beautiful patio area and enjoy the rain while staying dry. There were plenty of racoons and monkeys to see all around the hotel, especially to the side and back of the hotel where the trees are. Even though there is plenty of wildlife around the hotel, the interiors are well insulated and pleasantly quiet. This is also apparent as we did not hear street noise inside our room. The rooms are set back nicely into the property to allow guests some separation for the busy street. The rooms were set up nicely by housekeeping and cleaned very well each day. Laundry service is also available for a fee and they offer easy tour reservations as well.
The breakfast could be better. The breakfast sausage was a hot dog and they were out of bacon. The continental breakfast was simply toast and jelly with fruit.

I travelled with my wife and my 10yo daughter and stayed for about a week.
The hotel location is incredible, 200m far to the beach allowed us to go anytime of the day swimming and coming back to the room if we forgot something or simply to cool down. The hotel is also 200m from the Manuel Antonio main entrance.
The hotel is small, with about 20 rooms and comfy, with all the comforts of a bigger facility. The personnel is full of attention and always available with great recommendation and suggestions. We tried several restaurants to change but we all agreed that our favorite is the one at the hotel - also because the menus are very similar but food quality, personnel, and price make the Villabosque one our favorite.
Big adds-on was being awaken by a monkey family that was using the roof as an highway.
nothing major. We will be back for sure!

Location next to Parque Manuel Antonio and the beach. Nice room.
The breakfast was appalling and inedible, the worst in Costa Rica by a long way. Only 4 sunbeds by the pool.
4.3
A nice hotel perfectly centered in town. A short walk to the national park and the beach. The hotel will lend you towels and call you a cab whenever you need to go somewhere farther than a walk. We couldn’t have asked for more from our stay.
4.3
Perfect location and a very nice and fresh hotel. We loved our stay
The breakfast was not so inspiring, but the environment with the jungle around makes up for that!
4.3
Extremely good location for going to Manuel Antonio National Park and the beach. All very walkable within a couple minutes. The aesthetic of the inner areas is also really nice.
It was slightly expensive for what we got, which was a basic room. The walls are thin and we could hear music being played by the pool and the family next door fighting.

Overall it was fine for one night. I main issue was the pettiness. I got up charged for having three people. When we all used the same room. Then after I settled the bill and left, I’m card was charged again for a small amount that I have no idea what for as I already closed out the bill. The amount is too small to open a full dispute with my card company. I will take it as the cost for learning where not to stay in the future.
4.3
The room had only one internal window onto the stairwell which had the air conditioning units and therefore could not be left open because of the noise. The shower room was a ridiculous size as your nose was against the wall when sitting on the toilet. The toilet was too close to the shower which meant that you had to get dried in the shower as the room was too small.

Great place to the National Park - 200 meters walk to the entrance! Great (yet pricey) restaurant, breakfast, pool! Close to the beach too - walk is 300 meters or so. Great rooms, the AC doesnt blow directly at you which is rare and great. Parking, which is a huge problem in this area.
all went well!

Location, walking distance from de the park entrance. The hotel is nicely decorated and is very clean. The rooms are a bit small but the bed is comfy and have all the basics you need. (A/C, clean bathroom with hot water, TV). We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious!! Recommended.
Room was small

Extremely helpful staff, clean facilities, good parking. we arrived late at night and didn’t speak Spanish yet the security helped us out and got us the key.

Very close to Parque Manuel Antonio. Staff was friendly. Guys at the restaurant were attentive. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.
We definitely recommend Hotel Villabosque
It's a matter of choice. But I will appreciate dark curtains to avoid the room to be too bright .

Great location very close to both the beach and the park entrance.
They were doing construction work while I was there. not too and, but had noise during the day.

Wow! more the what I expect!. The beds were super comfortable, great AC , the breakfast was delicious ( costarican breakfast). The receptionist Miriam is excellent and great customer service. Super close to the park Manuel Antonio and restaurants.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff
To much sound coming from the street, and between rooms. Very simple breakfast.

Location! Friendly, helpful staff.

Location, very close to Manuel Antonio National Park, to the beach, and to few restaurants. Swimming pool is ideal after a long day at the park. Room size was big enough.
No much choice for breakfast. A bit noisy, not from the animals but from adjacent rooms. A bit overpriced, but you end up paying the location...

The place is incredibly nice, spacious and welcoming and the staff is very friendly and nice as well.
We could hear some bustling noise during the night, but for the rest was everything ok.
