Friendly owner, good breakfast and largish room.

We had to carry our bags up many stairs as property was in a lane where not tarffic is allowed. Could be difficult for persons who have problems walking.

Excellent location in central Assisi and close to Minerva Temple and to the Basilica of Saint Francis. Short walk from carpark. Host gave us very clear instructions as to where to park and how to find the accommodation. Host was very kind and ensured we had an excellent breakfast very early as we had an early flight. Room very comfortable.

Laura is a friendly and very helpful hostess, the room was spotless, large and comfortable, the breakast excellent (good coffee, fresh croissants and more). On a quiet alley (no cars, steps up the hillside from the main piazza).

it looked really nice, we didn’t actually end up staying there.

the fact that parking was 10 minutes away and it was all uphill to the apartment. It was really warm in the unit snd I couldn’t find any AC. There was no info for wifi and my major peeve is that no one meets you when you arrive to help you out and explain everything.

Easy to find when coming from the final bus stop. Close to several food option and very quiet as not on a driveable street (stairs). Excellent breakfast and everything will be done for an enjoyable stay ! Really had a very pleasant stay and a good rest...

I reserved 2 rooms and 1 apartment for one night at La Zuppa Inglese. The two rooms were spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. The apartment was huge! It was equally as beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was amazing.....A wide variety of fresh, homemade items, including egg cups, freshfruit, pastries, coffee, juices, etc. Communication with Laura was excellent. She was very clear with directions for arrival and instructions for entering. Laura was friendly & welcoming, and explained all aspects of the accommodations. Being a walled hill town, Assisi tends to have very small apartments that are often multi-leveled. Though the rooms were on the first floor (Up 1 flight of steps/No lift.), and the apartment was bi-level, access was easy. Fortunately, this was our 4th visit to Assisi, so we were familiar with the parking lot and the general location of La Zuppa Inglese. The location might be somewhat challenging for first-time visitors. However, I have no doubt that Laura would be helpful in guiding guests to the residence. La Zuppa Inglese is a reasonably priced, yet superior accomodation in Assisi. We will most definitely return!

Would have liked a hot water for tea

A wonderful ancient house in the center of Todi, literally besides the cathedral. The rooms are spectacular and the terrace is a marvelous surprise that provides the best view of Todi by day and by might. Breakfast and the management are perfect. It is a must stay you cannot miss.

The location was central in Assisi old town within easy walk to the Basilica. Restaurants and shops are nearby. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Host Laura was so nice and helpful walking down to the square to meet us when we couldn’t find the street! Her daily homemade breakfasts were wonderful! Could not ask for a better host!

If you have never been to Assisi be prepared to walk and climb! It is a hilltop medieval town with stone steps and tiny cobblestone streets to get everywhere. Try to pack light as not only is it uphill but many buildings do not have lifts and the stairs are narrow!! But well worth the effort!!

We really liked the authencity of the room. The breakfast was superberb.

Good sized room, modern fittings, chair and table, and an enormous wardrobe Breakfast was fine incl. eggs and cake (Be careful that you need to walk up steps to reach and within the property)
