A lovely location, right in the centre, we didn't need to use any transport whilst we were there due to this! The room was a nice size for two people with nice lighting coming through the windows and a comfortable bed. Host was also very approachable and responsive. Would definitely stay again when I visit York!

The location was good and the room was comfortable, When we eventually got into it.

We were booked to check in at 2pm, On arrival we were told that our room wasn't ready, We didn't actually get into our room until 4pm, When we did get into our room we had no toilet roll and one of the drinking glasses had lip stick on it.

not clean, very basic. hairs on sink and toilet room looked like it hasn’t been cleaned.

Location was great, very central to shops, bars and restaurants. Lots to see and do very near by. Comfy bed and soft pillows also warm room. Towels provided.

The room was filthy. The carpet had matted chunks of hair, dirt and I even found glass. The desk surface and chair was sticky and walks had stains on. On the floor was two screws and a hole in the bathroom floor. The toilet is saniflow so anytime we used it it made a loud noise and took a while to clear. The bathroom was so unclean with pubic hair all around the taps and sink and splash back had toothpaste all over . The toilet, surrounding wood and shower screens had marks and dirt all over also a greasy sticky soap. We could not use the facilities properly I refused to shower there. It just had clearly not been cleaned. We arrived close to the time we was going out and literally just slept there. The bedding appeared clean and fresh but was damp. The two cups were tea stained and no spoons. The fireplace has a bin bag stopping soot and air coming from the chimney but the bag rattled all night and something on the outside kept shaking in the wind which kept us up. In desperate need of modernising, dust and hairs everywhere. Very creamy floors and thin walls. Such a shame and very unhygienic. We brought bottled water to brush our teeth as the taps were so dirty. Not worth £100 when you can’t even leave your toothbrush on the side. I will be taking this further.

Very central n very comfortable plenty t coffee available n very easy to find tv not all channels available ie itv but plenty of Christmas films

Bathroom wasn't doubled glazed so it was colder in there n the noise off the traffic as being on a main road was quite loud

Ideal location, car park close by and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I have recommended the accommodation to friends and family.

We could just get the key ourselves and let ourselves in. The location is great. It was a very nice room and comfy bed. We had netflix on the tv also!

It’s not a dislike but it was a bit confusing as number 9 was on the first floor between 1 and 2. I accidentally went to the top of the building to look for number 9 as it was dark I walked straight past it

Location of hotel close to Minster was excellent.

Shower tray had hairs in before use. Kettle had to be moved because the plug could not fit in plug socket due to shelf being directly under the plug socket. Bed was too soft. Found out the all day parking was a combined £18.00 but i needed to get to car park before 8.00 to put another ticket on, no time to relax.

room was above quite a busy road and traffic woke me up each morning. it was late September and the room was cold until I notified the property.

Nothing really other than the location was excellent.

The decor was poor, the cleanliness was poor and the bed was exceptionally uncomfortable, the pillows were hard and the shower was filthy.
