Very nice and cozy apartment. Right next to the beach and city centre. Some restaurants and shops around. Very beautiful garden inside

location is perfect, close to restaurants, beach and supermarket. We really enjoyed the outside and the hammock. after a couple of hotels it was nice to have our “own” place and cook a simple dinner and breakfast. We arrived at 10.30pm and it was no problem for Carla to meet. Superfriendly.

no AC - hot, small, very noisy - could hear full conversation of our neighbors, only window was in the door, if we wanted to have some daylight in the room the curtain had to be open, but then our neighbors could see everything inside the room, otherwise we had to used artificial light

Great location - central, but very quiet. I had really good sleep. Supermarket and good takeaway options nearby. The property has an authentic feel. I was kindly allowed to leave my luggage at the property before check-in and after check-out - very convenient for early arrivals and late departures by ferry

The property is in a great location. Two minutes walk to the beach and a short walk from shops. Everything you need is in the room.

Unfortunately, I did not want to say anything negative about this property as it is amazing. However, the bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable! The bed itself is also very loud, everyone myself or my partner made the smallest of moves it would make loud noise and wake us up.

The location of apartment is very good, it is in the middle of the little centre and maybe 4mins to the beach. Carla was very friendly and helpful. Room was smaller but very clean and had everything we needed for 1night stay .

Great location, and handy to have some kitchen items eg coffee machine. We were grateful that we could do a late check in off the evening ferry from Funchal, and to store our bags before we left on the evening ferry back.

Quite a small space, fine for a night or two but maybe not ideal for those who want to stay longer.

Very nice cleaning person. The location is very central with supermarkets, restaurants, bike rentals and beach. The walled backyard is spacey and it's nice to sit and dine under a green rooftop or a big palm tree. BBQ possibility.

Mainly - the bed was very uncomfortable (especially for 2 people), we did not get much sleep. Noises from the street echoing through the ventilation holes. Not much air flow - only one small window to the backyard.

The host is super friendly, house is located in the most central area possible and it was super clean.

Unfortunately it was a little bit humid and small, the mattress/bed was not very comfortable for us which made it hard to enjoy the stay for more than a few nights. Recommended for short stays (weekend).

Carla takes an amazing care of the guests. We booked the studio very last minute and we could check-in, less than an hour later that day. The location is right in the center with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The studio is lovely and it has everything you might need during your stay. When we come back to Porto Santo, we will stay definitely at 16 Porto Santo Apartments.

The location is very central to the main area and the apartment has a nice courtyard to chill in. The communication between the host was very easy.

The apartment was much more basic than I ever anticipated. The bed was rock hard, I was being eaten alive by mosquitos and there were ants in the bathroom. I decided not to stay in the apartment and booked the only other available hotel on the island as an alternative, which ended up very expensive.

Excellent location, a short walk from the beach and cafes/restaurants. The courtyard is a lovely place for breakfast or for a drink before dinner or just to sit and read when you're done with the beach. There's a hammock! Pretty quiet (except on election night ...)

It's more a bedroom with a little kitchen area than an apartment: there's a microwave and one hotplate. The room gets quite warm and there's no aircon.

The bed was good size, but mattress thin and not comfortable.

Close to the beach and the center. The host was welcoming and on time. Nice shower and bathroom.
