Great location! Very homely

2min walk to town and short walk to the waterfront

While the facilities at this accommodation were adequate, there were quite a few things that made our stay less pleasant than it could have been. There is an exhaustive list of rules and potential fees to keep track of (bring own bedding/towels, put bins out on Sunday night, no one is to be on the deck before 7am), as well as a few things that were tiresome to deal with, and could easily be fixed (the plug for the spa bath doesn’t fit properly and the water drains out as you are using it, no tissues, broken lamp, uncomfortable pillows). While it’s reasonable to expect that people leave the accommodation clean, the directions and rules provided were more like those you’d find in a rental agreement, and made us feel less comfortable than we expected to be for short-term holiday accommodation. Fortunately, these are all minor tweaks that could be easily attended to, should the hosts wish to make the place more inviting.

I liked the overall style.

I have never left a negative review re: accom before but: - The mattress was hard and uncomfortable -Over priced, linen was an extra $80 on top of accommodation costs -Noise from road was loud -The accommodation is a part of a house and the other guests had children which woke us up in the morning (7am)! -Hairs left in the bath -Accom was small compared to the pictures -No milk or kitchen essentials such as olive oil, salt which had run out -only given two towels so I had to use my partners towel for my hair -Bath plug didn't work well -Hair dryer was broken and blew cold air -Shower temperature off- you cannot use any cold water or else the shower will be cold -Check-in is comparatively late- 4pm -Had to compete multiple forms and surveys prior to check-in which were overly onerous plus give a $500 deposit Comparatively speaking, you will get better value for money with Airbnb. Wouldn't use this company again!
