The room met our expectation. Nice and cosy tent. Shared batheroom was clean and convenient. Staff very friendly.

Not hostel responsibility but we got woke up many times by dogs barking. We walked quite a lot that day and the hotel is 15min walk from the observatory center, where you start hikes, we were exhausted.

If there were more people, it probably would have been noisy because the walls of rooms were very thin.

Was told they would serve breakfast in AM and no one showed up at front desk/restaurant till 11 AM and shrugged/laughed when I asked about breakfast (instead we walked to a nice bakery nearby for coffee and really good baked goods.) The location is great. The common areas are nice to work and hang out in. The tent is spacious for one person.

I feel bad writing this, because it isn't the property's fault, but it is helpful for other travelers to know. There's an event space right behind the inn which started blaring music at 11pm one night. My tent had no soundproofing, so I heard it as though I were right next to the speakers. I asked them to lower the volume, and they did, but that didn't do much good. By 1am, the music was replaced by a group singing and playing the guitar. I asked them several times to move (not to stop playing, but to take their instruments somewhere else, since they could easily have done so). They assured me repeatedly that they were almost done, that they were about to leave, but the music seemed to get louder every time I complained. One of the guests started verbally abusing me, and the staff did nothing. They didn't let me sleep until after 2am. There was also no hot water two nights in a row. A staff member claimed that there was no problem, that the water just needed to run, but it never got hotter than lukewarm before turning cold again.

It's a very cozy and welcoming place, perfect if you are travelling alone and want to know people. The staff is very kind and helpful.

The private tents are very basic, not super clean.

location was great and the staff was very nice and friendly. everything was organized and clean. nice common area

the gallery with shared beds is connected to the common area downstairs. the lights aren’t turned off for the night and you can hear all the noises. couldn’t really sleep there. there is technically a rule that after 10 everyone should keep the area quite but no one really follows that.

Perfect location for a stopover on the way. Friendly.

Nothing, all perfect!

It was a pleasant stay, and there's a lot of other nice guests - there's a nice atmosfeer. Note that there are very very few cups etc at the kitchen, but with a bit of creativity you can still make food there.

The only disadvantage was the food, it was too pricy for meagre quality. However, there are many great places to have food closeby so if you take that into account its fine.

Tried to arrange / order a breakfast. We're told it was going to start but we never saw any signs. Ended up having a breakfast around the corner.

There was some confusion while signing in about taxes which was painfully sorted out.

We really liked the great employees who even gave us an Upgrade for free as we had only booked a tent and it was freezing outside. Really enjoyed the food :)

The Quarter spice in is a great place to be in Mitzpe Ramon. It is located in the industrial zone but don’t let this name scare you there is no really heavy industry there - just a few guesthouses restaurants and some small businesses. We took a double room which was tiny but clean and prefect for our needs. The great attraction of the inn besides the cost) is the large communal space with fully equipped kitchen. That’s a place to rest at the end of the day, meet other travelers and enjoy a cup of tea. Will surely come back!

fantastic atmosphere, lovely people, so helpful with further planning of the rest of my trip, and lovely other guests too, met some nice folks and we had a fab time
