A very decent and professionally run hostel! I had a private room facing the back. There was a big comfy, bed, a sink (appreciate it!) and a small desk. The bathroom was one meter away and shared with only one other private room, we had a private key to it. Everything was super clean. I recommend the breakfast, which was nice. For €8 I had two large and nice buns, cheese, marmalade, a vegan spread, juice and cappuccino. Staff was friendly. The location was also good.

Nothing to dislike, but I missed a way to make myself tea.

I booked the single room with shared bathroom. It was functional & had desk, mini refrigerator, kettle, lamp, shelves, sink, large window with curtains. The bathroom was across the hallway. Near bus stop & tram to get to main train station/hauptbahnhof. Walking distance to town center. There was a bio market/organic grocery a block away and places to eat nearby. Front building door was locked for security & guests had access code.

No elevators. Someone was smoking & I could smell it in the hallway. Communal area downstairs had limited hours. Squeaky floors & stairs.

This property is not manned 24/7 so they don’t allow for you to leave your luggage after checkout. What an inconvenience. Also don’t expect a common area or basic kitchen necessity. On Sunday it was raining outside but they let me sit on the stairs to get myself organized. Imagine sitting and eating there..

All good. Simple room but it was perfect. They let us put the bikes inside the Hostel.

It would be perfect if this hostel had an air conditioning

I liked that it was an old school building refurbished and well kept. I like that the linen had my name on it at the reception. the breakfast next morning was pretty good too.

I think the checkin is at 3:30 and sometimes it can be a bit of wait for people!

The staff was very nice and friendly. They speak English well and helpful. I went in April. The place was quite close to street to watch cherry blossom.

No lift. Reception hours limited. One WC for 8 people.

The hostel is clean, located close to the city center. The temperature in the room is easily regulated. Each bed has a hanging light, which is convenient. Towels are included in the price.

There is no common area to work or eat in the evening. The curtains do not do a great job and it's very bright in the room at night.

Clean bed sheets, clean room and comfortable mattress, lockers provided, friendly staff, amazing location

bunk beds were noisy, reception was not 24h and breakfast was almost none (although a great bakery is at a 3-min walking distance), no actual lobby (just stairs)

There were towels but no shampoos. We were lucky we had a little bottle with us from another trip. The bed was creaking

Comfortable bad.

The staff was not always present in the hostel. I had a problem and I had to wait an hour for them to arrive because the telephone of the structure was also disconnected. There isn't an all-day social room that you can be in to avoid disturbing other roommates. The wofi connection was bad.

Served the purpose perfectly of having a place to brush our teeth and sleep the night whilst visiting the Christmas markets with friends for a weekend only. Very clean and good location.
