Home from home; very well equipped kitchen + lounge, two bedroom, 1 en-suite + 1 family bathroom; could accommodate upto six people if necessary but we only needed it for two; close to amenities in Newquay, bus stops right outside; good price for the week = £100 a night hotel, so exceptionally well priced for a two bedroom flat especially one so well equipped with quality wi-fi and efficient gas central heating, with free reserved parking. Unbeatable for this location.

Would have preferred first-floor flat to be on a higher floor in hindsight, as view of sea and Newquay from lounge & master bedroom obscured by hotel awning next door; double glazing not very efficient as road noise wakes you up in the morning; sound proofing between flats also not brilliant - if we could hear people upstairs moving about, people in flat below could probably hear us. Shower in master bedroom not very powerful - could do with boosting. But these are very minor gripes and would not prevent us from staying here again if we needed to.

Accomadation was spotless. Everything that was required was supplied. Very cosy and spacious.

This is our second stay at Alishan - perfect location for exploring cornwall. Great see views. Very well maintained and everything you need.

no balcony to sit outside but not a huge issue . parking space limited to 1 car , had a rude note stuck to windscreen off a neighbour , we ensured no one was blocked in where we parked so that was uncalled for , but didn’t let it spoil our holiday

No breakfast because it was self catering. The apartment was fully equipped with all the equipment we needed .Location was excellent . Very happy with the holiday.

Maybe a shelf or two in the bedroom or the bathroom . Apart from that it was very comfortable and fully equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean as well.

The washbasin with out hot and cold mixer, it was difficult for the kids to mix it by themselves

Location was just perfect overlooking the beaches within a very short walk to all beaches and Newquay town centre and the apartment was very well looked after with excellent facilities and space , couldn't fault in any way 😁😁👍

Great location. Everything you need for a self catering break. It’s a two bedroom flat in a residential block and exactly as you’d expect.

The windows/ extraction allowed all the noise in. The flat is on a busy main road and you heard everything as if you were stood on the pavement. Not great for a good nights sleep if you’re not used to road noise.

Clean spacious all the amenities you need great location nice clean beaches. The colonial is a lovely restaurant on the tolcarne beach front.

Check out time 9am is too early and like wise check in time 5 pm very late with a family of 4, should alone with hotels ie 10 and 2pm check in but other than that great x

Very comfortable stay. Had everything we needed. Tesco express and beaches are just around the corner. Everything was clean and functioning, and will definitely recommend for everyone.

Huge 2 bedroom apartment with en-suite bathroom. Very clean & modern and very close to beaches and town center. Just next to Tesco and has its own car park, dishwasher machine. Ticks all the boxes for a holiday flat. Will definitely check next time when we go to Newquay.

There is nothing that owner can do about it but parking space is very tight. Just requires to be extra cautious.

The location was exceptional - a stones throw from a number of beautiful beaches and coves. No longer than 20 minutes to a number of other Cornish hot spots. The property itself was spotless, very modern and homely, with everything you could possibly need.

The weather! Anything and everything to do with the property, the booking procedure, the handling of our arrival and departure, the communication was nothing short of faultless. A Brilliant service.

Apartment was spotless clean when we arrived, spacious with beautiful sea view. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Tesco Express round the corner. 4 different beaches. For romantic get away I recommend Glaze Beach with stunning restaurant on the beach. If you're heading for the waves the biggest once I've seen are in Perranporth and the beach is amazing.

There was nothing to dislike. Maybe a little things like single hot/cold water taps, knifes could be sharper and tv aerial needs to be adjusted other the that everything was great!

The equipment and cleanliness of the place is very good, however the windows outside were very dirty, which made difficult to enjoy the beautiful views. The location is great, very close to several wonderful beaches, our favorite was Lusty Glaze Beach. Center of the city is in a walkable distance, Tesco is just on the corner to get food supplies, nice coffee etc.

The apartment is on a noisy street, cars are moving almost all the time, even at night there is a lot of traffic. It was difficult to fall asleep due to that. The main bedroom had a broken window, which did not close properly, which even increased the noise. The apartment has a very small parking space and often other cars were parked in front of our car, which made it very difficult to leave and park in the space. An additional unpleasant surprise was the moment of check out: you have to leave the apartment by 9 am, you have to throw away all the rubbish and you have to remove all linings, kitchen cloths and towels that you used during your stay. You will be charged a fine of £ 50 for any action you fail to do. My family is not early birds, much less on vacation. Check-in is from 5pm, I believe 8 hrs is a long time to clean this apartment, so these additional items should not be a requirement, but an option. It would be nice to see a small welcome gift.

Amazing location, sea view was beautiful. Property was sparkly clean on arrival! Contacted one of the hosts right at the beginning who was friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to stay in/around Newquay, I recommend this apartment.

No visitor bays for apartment block (parking was available outside the nearby Edgcumbe hotel).

I would say noise was a small issue. traffic or anything noisy outside could be heard as if all the windows were open. the double glazing isnt very sound proof.
