We were given room 15. A very old shop, detached from the motel. It took some finding, as there is no-one on site to check us in. This room was huge, an entire VERY old shop. The heater was so old. smashed up and dirty, we didnt want to try it. There were no smoke alarms at all. But when the bathroom door locked itself behind me, and l had to call for help to get the thing open, the chap that finally came to help (no one on site) told me it was bad luck, he didn't have a key.
They finally had to move us to another room, thank goodness. And that was the best bit...........

The room was clean, well presented and beyond what I was expecting. The bed was firm but comfy (which I like).
I was surprised that the room wasn't serviced during my two-day stay, but I admit I didn't look at the 'fine details' of the booking so perhaps it was noted there somewhere?
Although I think the room was definitely more than I had expected for the price, the motel walls are incredibly thin and I was kept awake until the early hours of the morning by a party of two next door.

Communication was excellent & a hassle free after hours arrival. An updated room that was bigger then expected. Shower was hot & the supplied crockery & cutlery was perfect. Pretty quiet location.
Parking was squishy especially as we had a trailer, but we were able to fit in. There was no “info pack” about nearby food options or sights but hey, we’ve all got google. The heater thermostat was a bit noisy.
