The spa was huge! The bed comfy and a million pillows to choose from for sleeping! Also the nicest touch was the free wine and snacks in the room.

The property is dated but more than made up for it in cleanliness and warmth.

This is a good country motel.

The staff were extremely helpful. We had a noisy cricket in our room and they quickly changed our room. We were towing a boat and there is plenty of room to park the boat out the front of the hotel. Good value for the price we paid.

If you don't have a car, it's a 20 min walk into town.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at the John Pirie were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Reception staff advised us of a great way to avoid some heavy duty roadworks on Highway 1. Basically advising us to take the Port Broughton turnoff and head on to Adelaide from there.
