There are a fair few rental apartments dotted around the immediate vicinity of the cathedral. However, as I found during my visit, to get the ideal view of this architectural wonder of the world it pays to back up a few paces to the Plaza Mayor. Standing on the balcony of the Mirador the surrounding buildings of the square just set the monument within a perfect framing. The proportions just seem - well, divine, as the cathedral seems to hover over the cityscape like a majestic spaceship. I could admire the vista all day, and then seeing it lit up after dark literally stunned me. A sight not to be missed.

The location on the Plaza Mayor, and the view of the Cathedral, night & day, from the living room & one of the bedrooms. Stunning! For us, it is now the standard of an excellent apartment in a great city.

This apartment was in a lovely square with a balcony and fab view of the cathedral. It was well located and pristine clean. It had everything we needed for a short stay in Burgos.

Great location right at the plaza major. Very accessible parking right below at +/- 16 euros per day or +/- 9 euros if you have the app.
There is some expected noise. The most disappointing part was no AC.
Note for those bad with stairs: it has a fairly long staircase before the elevator. (though for us it was no problem)

Perfect location you can see the cathedral from the windows, at night, the lights and view are amazing
No A/C and no fans, we left the windows open to let the cool air in BUT it let in all the noise, since it's a plaza, people were partying until after midnight, then the efficient cleanup crew comes in at 3am to clean the plaza and that was noisy. If we closed the doors it helped but we were hot.. Fans on ceiling and around would help a lot since it's a great location.

Parking is under the square and could not be closerThe location is the best you could wish for. You have a wonderful view of the plaza mayor and are right next to the cathedral in the Old Town. There are plenty of bars and shops and a great atmosphere.
The only negative is that the lift is on the first floor so its best not to bring in heavy bags. The bed was uncomfortable for my arthritic hips but good for everyone else in our group.

The apartment is great. Great location and it has everything (almost) you’d need for a weekend stay.
The lady that let me in was lovely and friendly.
Maybe a sort out of pans is needed in the kitchen..? And not a single wine glass, in a country that drinks so much wine.
Didn’t particularly appreciate the messages and answers to my questions from the owners/manager. I asked about a baggage transfer company and was told to basically use the post office. And I was the asked TO TURN THE HEATING DOWN written in shouty capitals, before I left the property. I’ve never been asked that before. And I never even touch the thermostat/heating…

The location of this apartment is stunning! You can sit on the sofa or stand at the window and meditate to the soundproofed sight of Burgos going about it’s daily business. Or wait and watch the scene slowly light up as night falls. The quality of fittings and furnishings in the apartment is very high: everything from the beds to the kitchen facilities. It was easy to check in—clear instructions were sent in advance—and the owners were very helpful in all their communications. Thank you!

There is only one small thing and that was the double bed that was a little bit small for our preference (probably 140 cm wide)

Great flat in the heart of the pedestrian area of Burgos. Everything was less than a 10 minute walk and a gorgeous view of the main square. Perfece for an overnight stay.
