location wasn’t great but ok

dusty all over the house. looked like long time no cleaning. it must be vacant for a long time. the host lives downstairs and we felt uncomfortable as we were being watched. kitchen wasn’t essentially equipped. hot water runs out quickly which means it’s not possible for the third person to have a hot shadower.

We very much appreciated the transport given from the ferry port to the apartment late at night ( 9.45 pm ) The patio is large and private.

We travelled around Greece for over a month and stayed in 12 apartments - this apartment was by far the worst. If by “ traditional” you are happy with old and something that looks & feels like it hasn’t been upgraded since the 80s then this apartment could be for you ( see photos ). The second bedroom was actually the “ living area”, and uncomfortable to spend anytime in. On the night of our arrival we were given the “ house rules” which included the frugal use of A/C and lighting because of the cost to the owner, and we were advised of how the owner has had to tell people to leave his property for not keeping the “rules” - we weren’t sure if this was bragging or a threat. We actually booked for five days but left after two - no refund was offered. There are plenty of great apartments on the beautiful island of Spetses but this isn’t one of them ( I looked at three all better & cheaper than this one before leaving ) - I would very much question the validity of previous ratings - I do not believe anybody could rate it a 10 - be careful before booking here

Vagelis is very helpful and wonderful person, Στην υγειά σου!! We really appreciate the ride from and to the ferry port! The place is clean with big terrace. It is located in very quite and relaxing area, 10 min walk from the nearest beaches and 5 min from the nearest supermarket and cafe shop :)

The owner came to pick us up at the harbour! He also shared info on the island and many tips for restaurants and other. He really enhanced the experience. The appartment is very spacious and feels like being at home.

Vaggelis was very open, friendly and helpful. He collected us at the port even though we had arrived in two groups at different times. He also gave us pointers about beaches, shops, restaurants and bike rental services. All of them are at the walking distance, yet at the same time we appreciated how nice and quiet the area was. The house was very clean, tidy and well maintained, with plenty of space inside and outside and a view to the garden. Everything was working perfectly. Definitely worth returning to!

A nice, tidy & traditional guesthouse in a very quite part of Spetses town with a terrific hoste.
