Lovely property, very relaxing location. We had everything at our fingertips that we needed for our stay, and would love to go back.

We rented this home because my 14 yr. Old grandson wanted to fish all day. That’s exactly what he got to do.
The house was perfect. The setting was perfect. One suggestion…. A big umbrella for some shade while fishing or sitting on the patio.

The overall stay was fantastic. The location was perfect. Within one minute we were in Pine Island sound. We took the boat to the Yucatán restaurant and it was a perfect evening. We also took the boat to Cabbage Key to have our “ cheeseburger in Paradise”. The house was very comfortable. He very spacious for me and my wife and my friend and his wife. The pool was great especially the weather was very hot and humid. The only criticism I would have is that, because I like to cook, the kitchen could be better appointed. They really need to upgrade their cutlery and plates. But other than that it was a great stay, and would recommend it.

Everything exactly as described, lovely house and we enjoyed the kayaks. Pool was warm and lots of towels. Blue Bar/restaurant was great, quite small so you might have to wait for a table

The house was exactly what we needed for our group of 5. We enjoyed eating outside, the pool and dock and even met some of the neighbors who were extremely kind. We would definitely visit again!

I can not express how amazing this property is. The town is the ultimate get away from stress. Absolutely to die for food choices. The people in this area make you feel so welcomed. The house and pool are the ultimate in relaxation and the perfect location. Not only would I book this house again in a heart beat, I would book it for at least a month next time just to take in all the house and the area have to offer. If you have the chance to stay here, please do you will not regret it.

We are a family that loves fishing and being on the water. The house was great for us. The dock fishing at the room didn’t disappoint either.

The property was clean and ready for us to arrive. This house has the added features of 2 kayaks and 4 bikes. The neighborhood is safe and friendly. I also have to applaud the property manager for responding to our needs promptly when we called. I thoroughly enjoyed our 6 week stay.

Great location with drawbacks
Communication with the property manager was excellent pre-check-in and throughout the stay, but it was not disclosed in the description that the property is for sale and would be shown the entry time we stayed there. This became a problem for us when we asked that they not show it again after the first showing since the property owner’s realtor left the back door unlocked during the second showing. We had thousands of dollars of fishing equipment in the home when that happened. The second showing was not even communicated to the property manager by the realtor. We finally had to ask on the third requested showing that they please wait just one more day until we checked out and the realtor refused. The owner got involved and asked his realtor to take a step back and she finally agreed. It was an aggressive situation with that realtor. The owner said he would refund an extra amount of money for our troubles, but I have not received that and it has not been made part of my deposit return. The property itself is beautiful but overgrown, the grass was very high and the bushes behind the pool completely block the view of the canal and the boat. Do you have to maneuver yourself carefully to get out the back screen door because the bushes are overgrown into that area.
The good thing about this property truly is it’s proximity to getting out to the sound, and it is in a lovely adorable area with cute things surrounding it. I believe this property could be improved upon and it would make it a first class day but our experience was less than ideal and I did communicate that to the property Manager who tried her very best to help us and was very communicative.

Great Getaway
We stayed at Casa High Tide during the Thanksgiving Holiday and it was perfect for our family of seven. Plenty of space for all of us, picturesque, and an easy walk to explore Matlacha’s art galleries and unique shops. We especially enjoyed watching the boats leave in the early mornings and return at dusk. Pine Island was a short drive away so we visited the shops, parks and marinas from Bokeelia to St. James City. Our favorite was the Indian mounds .

Was a little disappointed that we had to purchase gas for the grill and all paper products for kitchen and bathrooms, even dish soap. Everything else was very nice

November 2019 Stay
The property is in a good location that was easy to find. Everything was clean and we had no problems. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the patio area and the swimming pool where we spent a good portion of our time. Jason was very responsive when we had questions. We loved our stay.

Wonderful property for quick family trip
This is our third time at this same property. The owners are great and the property is centrally located for reaching multiple bars and restaurants by boat. Will definitely be back.

Matlacha Week
We had a great time in Matlacha. This house is situated perfectly for all of Matlacha’s quirky shops and great restaurants. The a/c worked great which was very helpful as it was HOT this week. The house is well equipped. A few areas could use a bit of updating, but mainly cosmetic and nothing that interfered with us enjoying our stay. We spent our days on Pine Island Sound and all of the nearby beaches and evenings in the pool at the house. The house is 10 minutes from the marina we used. Great communication with the owner. We would definitely stay here again.

the property had everything it advertised and more. Everything clean and plentiful. Attractively and user friendly decorated. Very clear instructions and information.
We spend one happy week there. We liked the neighborhood, felt at home with the neighbors, all very nice people. Would want to go again.

Arrived at house and advertised amenities were not available. Specifically, his canoe. Upon immediately expressing my displeasure to him, his response was simply “me to”. Nothing else. In a subsequent email he indicated that he is not in the hospitality business! In the remodeled master bath, there is an illegal outlet which renters could be hurt by. The pool is not heated as advertised and his instructions to turn on heater do not correct the problem. Multiple renters have noted this issue. Second bathroom is outdated with mold in bathtub and toilet that required several flushes to successfully flush the toilet. Most of the kitchen cabinets are empty and came to find just about all of the kitchen supplies piled in one of the bottom cabinets...very disorganized
House is for sale - not known to me until realtor called to schedule a viewing. Would view this rental as a sinking ship with the captain (owner of this property)jumping into the first lifeboat and leaving the rest behind

Little piece of heaven.
We had a wonderful time. The gulf coast is our favorite place to vacation. The property is well maintained and has lots of room. The access to the outer islands is just a quick trip by boat. The lift was easy to operate (could use some greasing). We had a wonderful time.

It was perfection!
The house was just what we were expecting for Matlacha! Friendly neighbors, great view, great location, great layout for traveling with couples, comfortable and relaxing!! Great pool area with lots of seating. Everything was clean and welcoming! We loved how the sliders opened up to fill the house with the great breezes off the water! We hosted a family Thanksgiving dinner/brother's 60th birthday celebration and the house was perfect for that!! We definitely will be back!! We all decided we needed to make this an annual family reunion destination!! Thank You!!

Boaters paradise
Have rented vacation homes in Cape Coral area for 10 years. This home is best deal by far. Out to deep water access quickly. Home has everything that we needed. Beautiful master suite, also updated master bathroom. Owner was a pleasure to deal with.
