LES VUES NE MEURENT PAS MIEUX QUE CELA! Un soir, cette photo a été prise de la table de la salle à manger. Nous avons récemment observé les baleines depuis la même table de salle à manger. Les vues dominantes sont à couper le souffle, que ce soit de la maison, du bain à remous, ou de marcher le long de la plage ou de pique-niquer sur le bluff. Regardez l'océan se transformer du lever au coucher du soleil, avec la côte perdue encadrant l'horizon. Profitez d'un séjour romantique ou en famille dans notre maison contemporaine sur 5 hectares face à l'océan. En soirée, profitez du poêle à bois vitré ou regardez les étoiles et écoutez l'océan dans le confort du bain à remous. Promenez-vous le long des nombreuses plages qui s'étendent le long de l'océan et profitez des bassins de marée, des phoques et des vues. La propriété partage la plage privée montrée sur la photo et possède sa propre crique privée, accessible à marée basse et connue pour le verre de mer se trouvant dans ses sables.
Le village balnéaire de Westport est à seulement 800 mètres et permet une agréable promenade. Il y a un petit magasin dans le terrain de camping adjacent avec l'essentiel, et un magasin pittoresque dans le village. Nous sommes confortablement loin des centres commerciaux et de la restauration rapide, et très proche des vagues de l'océan et des étoiles.

Our stay here was wonderful. The location is spectacularly beautiful. I enjoyed walking the bluff every day! The house was small but fucntional and we loved being able to go into Fort Bragg for food and fun. Looking forward to staying again in the future during whale season!

We had a wonderful time! Dan was great! All instructions were fully detailed and easy to follow. The view is amazing and the beach is incredible. I’ve never been to a Northern California beach that didn’t have tons of seaweed and flies and smelled like fish. The beach below the bluffs was beautiful! Highly recommend staying here.

This was my 2nd time here. The ocean is my spiritual happy place. Climate is fabulous and the ocean is what it is. Dan's place is the perfect "homey" spot. I brought my service dog and a friend with me and it had everything we could ask for. Will definitely be back. Love this place.

My husband and I wanted to not only celebrate our 40th anniversary but beat the 100 degree heat. Booked Sweet Cove Cottage and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Dan is so easy to communicate with. The house has everything you could ask for. Stunning views, peaceful surroundings. Easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights. No issues at all with the camp ground at the bottom of the road. Also, very thankful the cottage is pet-friendly. We will most definitely be returning!!

Loved everything about this beautiful space! We were thrilled with the location right on the ocean. Also, the hot tub was so nice. Beds comfy and getting up to a a cozy fire was amazing.

Dan was such a helpful and quick responding host. The house is set perfectly to gaze at the Pacific for hours. The property is massive and allows for walks to the beach through the adjacent campground. You can park there too if it is too far to walk. The kitchen is well stocked along with all bedrooms. We will be back in the years to come for sure.

This was a very nice place for us to stay for a week away to the ocean. The location is lovely and the home is cozy and well appointed. The owner was very nice to work with.

The cottage is absolutely amazing! The location DOES NOT get better than this! My husband and I stayed here with our 4 children (ages 10, 7, 5, 1) and our dog. The property the cottage is on is huge! So much room to run and play. We walked down to the beach. Very short walk. You can also drive. The hot tub over looking the beach is amazing! The view from the property is amazing! The view out of the dining room window, amazing! The sunsets, amazing! We would love to stay here again. My 7 year old asked if we could stay here for her birthday coming up in March. Now that says something! Thank you Dan for sharing your cottage with us!

Exactly as pictured and more. The view is beautiful, from dawn to dusk, and night sky is perfect for some stargazing, very far away from light pollution. Bring your own telescope or use the one from the rental.
Fort Bragg is not too far, and the harbor seals at Laguna Point was the highlight for the kids.
Place could use some updating, but is clean and organized. Understandable since they accept dogs, which why we picked this place. The huge backyard view of the pacific coast is fantastic.

We so needed a break. My husband has been very ill and he finally had a few days where he felt like getting out. This place was perfect as he can’t walk very far and with the incredible view he didn’t need to. The communication with the host was quick. The only issue was that we both would’ve preferred the tv to be in the living area and to be easier to figure out the remotes. The same goes for the heaters in all the rooms. The host did explain in detail but the instructions just didn’t help. The hot tub was so welcome and the view. Go for the view. The rest didn’t really matter very much. We would return without hesitation.

If you are looking to get away and enjoy everlasting beach views, this is the place. This cottage is private, clean, and has easy access to the beach. A short drive to Fort Bragg or Mendocino. I would highly recommend.

The location has nice views and despite being by the campground is overall quiet. There is a great scenic area about 10ish minutes from the house where we saw seals almost daily and a great assortment of sea life in the tide pools at low tide. The house has all the various amenities needed and the kitchen was great for cooking. We had a couple issues during our stay and Dan was timely in his responses. The property is in a rural area and we, unfortunately, got a visit from some of its local critters. If not for that, would have whole heartedly given the property five stars.

Our time at the Sweet Cottage was wonderful. We got to see the Milky Way a couple nights and a spectacular sunset one of the evenings. Beaches are close by and lovely to explore. We didn’t spend much time in the house but I would’ve like it to be cleaner. That being said we would stay again because of the uniqueness of the property. Thank you!

It was exactly what we were looking for! Little house with views, smells and sounds of the ocean. The beach was walking distance, just a little hike. Remote, quiet, peaceful and lovely. Fenced in grounds for our dogs to play and then beautiful extended property to stroll and enjoy the scenery, sounds and smells of the beach.

The cottage was very comfortable, had everything you could need and the views, couldn't ask for better. The kitchen was perfect, as we cooked daily, and ate at the table on the deck most days. The beds were very comfortable. We were fortunate to see wildlife like deer and fawn and adorable baby fox frolicking in the grass. The jacuzzi was fantastic, great place to wind down the evening listening to the ocean waves. The beach is just a short 2 minute drive away down the hill.

My family had the most amazing time! The property and house were excellent! My husband loved the hot tub and the kids and I loved sitting at the picnic table over looking the bluffs. I loved sitting at the kitchen table and enjoying the wonderful views! We have definitely found our forever summer vacation rental! The owner Dan was so nice and responded quickly to all my questions. The property was well maintained and had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Can’t wait for next year!

My husband and I have been very fortunate in our vacation rental experience in Mendocino County and this was no exception. I was a bit concerned by the proximity of a campground but actually it was a huge plus. We were atop a bluff so no noise or lack of privacy and when we took our twice daily beach walks, people were friendly and very courteous. The whole experience was dog friendly, which was nice for us but even without a dog, this sweet cottage will sooth your spirit. The wood stove and well stocked woodbin helped us keep toasty warm and hot tub experience was beyond glorious. The ocean is larger than life in this location and it could not have been better. The house is small but does have two bedrooms so theoretically we could have had another person there to share the beauty. Host was spot on in communication and responsiveness ahead of our stay. The view is exactly what you see in the photo! Thank you, Dan, for everything. We appreciate knowing of this special place....
