Lit très confortable mais hôtel viellot aurait besoin d’un coup de neuf
Bruit toute la soirée car mariage dans l hôtel salle sous la chambre lamentable !

Booked a family room through booking.com for 2 adults and 2 children. Description below from booking.com:-
"Family Room (2 Adults + 2 Children)
This family room features one super king-
sized bed and two single beds. Each
individually designed room has its own
distinctive wallpaper, lighting and artwork. All
rooms are situated over one upper floor and
includes spa toiletries and tea and coffee
making facilities"
When I arrived at Westport Country Lodge Hotel they clearly saw I had 4 members of my family when they took my money at reception. Opened room to find 1no double bed and 1no Single bed. Went back to reception and explained.
Reply from reception was mind blowing. They would get me another bed for £250 euros more.
I asked for a refund and they refused. All about the money with this Hotel, even though the receptionist agreed with me about the room I was supposed to get.
At to find alternative accommodation.
Very disappointed with booking.com as they have washing their hands of the whole thing. They said Hotel didn't want to refund money and that's all they could do. Pathetic experience from Hotel and booking.com from start to finish.
Currently with trading standards to get my money back as booking.com failed to fulfil their contract

Food was excellent, prices spot on, lovely friendly staff. Super scenic views all around hotel.
I didn't like the misinformation Booking. com give, regarding walking to Westport Town being a 20min walk, first off, it's a main road with No footpath, it's to dangerous to walk and it would certainly be more that 20mins, A Taxi is 5min trip for €10 or €12 in.

Family room was great. So spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely big walk in shower and comfortable superking bed. Lovely sunny terrace to the front. Friendly staff.
Breakfast left a lot to be desired. My Husband was happy enough with his but i didn't love mine. The scrambled eggs were dry and the bacon was cruxified. No pastries at 9.30am.

The cooked breakfast was very good but we would have preferred a bigger selection for the cold buffet, for example, more breads.

There was communions on same weekend,to many people inside,didn’t get table for a dinner,kids running and screaming everywhere,no phone in rooms to order breakfast or just to get help from reception.They turn off heating in the the morning so was bit chill early mornings. Food quality not the best. Will not stay again here.

The bed was very comfy
No one on reception, room was very hot, no bedside cabinet on my side, bathroom steamed up way too much and the water splashed over the bath during a shower, making the bathroom very slippy, it would be helpful if part of the mirror didn't steam up.(alot of mould growing which shows it's not venting enough) Not sure if it was intentional or bad luck but at breakfast there was only one member of staff to do everything, her demeanor showed she was under pressure and it didn't make for a pleasant experience, slow service, tables weren't cleared in time for next guests and because we had such a wait we asked for a fresh pot of tea and it never came, I would of told someone on reception but no staff, even when we checked out no one. Paid decent money for the night and it was really disappointing.

Took a long time to order our dinner and only 3 other people having dinner so wasn’t busy. One member of staff in particular an older lady made us feel very uncomfortable when having drinks in the evening , this lady kept staring at us every few minutes and turning back around to other staff members, we actually left and went up to our room.

Good location, close to landmarks and 9 mins to the town. Comfy room and spacious for a few days stay. Shower good pressure also
No vegetarian options for breakfast (apart from pancakes and toast) and none for dinner. Staff could be a bit more warm and polite to ensure an all round comfortable environment

Breakfast waa cooked to order and it waa excellent as was dinner the night before. Staff were so helpful, I asked for name of hairdressers and they followed up with phone call. They were also so friendly.
The outside could look a bit better, inside so pleasant yet outside takes away from quality.

Location, bedrooms view wasn't the best, looking at bins, food was lovely, lovely choice for breakfast. Girl at reception was very nice.
