This summer at Cerqua Rosara we enjoyed the peace and freedom in this beautiful green environment. An oasis of peace is found here. A beautiful and well-maintained estate with an equally beautiful swimming pool with a large amount of sun loungers so that everyone can find a nice place to rest. The host Gianni is nothing short of a great person to meet. He speaks good English which since we don't speak Italian was very helpful. Gianni provided us with many tips for locations to visit and even during the day we received apps with nice tips for great restaurants (you know where Italians eat) and where we could park our car the easiest way. He frequently checks whether everything was satisfactory and at the slightest comment he took action. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The location in Umbria is as described surrounded by tranquility but within reasonable driving distance to visit the many beautiful places in Umbria. Think of a visit to Spello, Perugia, Assisi, Bevagna, Foligno, Gubbio, Rasiglia with nice little waterfalls in an authentic small village and even more beautiful places. All this within 30 to 60 minutes drive. In short, there is plenty to do in the area if you want to do something outside this oasis. As far as we are concerned both in terms of location, environment and the hospitality of Gianni, Cerqua Rosara is worth a real 10!

we loved the atmosphere and surroundings. Gianni the host was the nicest man ever, welcomed us with open arms, brought us fresh eggs in the morning. the area were quiet and very well organised. nice pool area.

Gianni was an adorable host and our small kids instantly fell in love with Lila his dog. The kids also enjoyed the donkeys and Gianni brought us even fresh hen’s and duck’s eggs. The location is quiet and spacious, but still near to the highway. We enjoyed the nearby Monte Subasio, the proximity to Assisi, Spello and the trip to the Cascate del Menotre and Rasiglia.

The house and surroundings were so beautiful - just as shown in the pictures. Gianni was kind and welcoming and helped us in every question we had. We loved just everything - the apartment was clean and comfortable and was perfect for a family - with well equipped kitchen, and lovely Lila (Border collie) who played with the kids outside+ donkeys, chickens and goats. There’s also a pool that looks lovely, but it was too cold outside… so we’ll have to come again when it’s summer :)

This is the perfect place for your trip to Umbria! We were a couple with two kids (4 years old and 7 months) sleeping there for 20 days and it was just wonderful! The place is beautiful, large and well maintained. The views are spectacular! The location is very convenient, a 15-40 minute drive to all the charming towns around. Gianni the host, is simply an extraordinary man, a warm and kind person, who provides an amazing service, helps with recommendations for trips and restaurants and makes staying an extraordinary experience! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and pleasant with all the things you ever need. We can't wait to visit there again soon.

Stay was like a week in Paradise, super House, pool and location with great landscapes. Nevertheless the best in this place was Gianni the host. Such a warm, hospital and polite Man i have never met. It was our First time in Cerqua Rosara but for Sure not the last one !!!!!!!!!

To commute around you need to have the car, otherwise that would be pretty much complicated.

Peaceful place in the middle of the mountains and greenery. Very quiet, nice swimming pool, very nice appartmemt, wonderful host.

In general location is great to visit beautiful towns in Umbria but you need a car. Its quite isolated, at least 2 or 3 km away from the village.

The place, the well equipped kitchen with proper wine glasses, the atmosphere, the nice and friendly people, the sun, the laughs, the BBQ, the wine and of course the super friendly and always helpful owner, Gianni...

Cerqua Rosara Recidence was the best place of the destinations we visited during our trip to Italy. Gianni makes you feel welcome. There is a big pool, activities you can do like bowshooting, tabletennis and so much space around the house. Historic places like Asissi and Foligno nearby. There is a playfull dog who steals your heart. If we go back to Italy I will for sure visit this place again.

A lovely peaceful location with hills surrounding. Gianni is an excellent host who went well above and beyond to help organise a special birthday meal nearby for my partner. He also has a very friendly dog who loves to play fetch. The apartment was everything we wanted and was a great base for exploring surrounding countryside and hill towns.

The host is most hospitable, friendly and helpful person. The property is clean, spacious and very comfortable. It is in farm style with well equipped kitchen, with all the modern conveniences. If you want to have a break to recharge your batteries, you can't find a better place. Great for families with kids as there is plenty of space for tge kids to run and play with cute pets.
