Cleanliness

The staff was impolite during checkin and they do not know to speak properly with a guest specially a woman when checking in. They made me very un comfortable. Instead of a warm welcome.. The words were as why are you staying here because you are an Indian and that is not how you treat any one from any place. I was very disappointed.

The room was big and clean.

The breakfast was not upto mark, I had ordered for a cheese omelette, no salt, the coffee smelt of burnt milk, the cupcakes were dense, my partner requested a masala dosa and that was bad. The moisturiser bottle wasn't filled and all I got was air when pushing the pump. I had requested a smoking room. They said I could pay 50% extra for a suite else it is not available. Shouldn't properties upgrade if rooms are available. The room didn't have a iron and just an iron board. Which I thought was weird.

The staff were amazing. The beds were very comfortable. It was located close to the Apollo Hospital, which was exactly what we needed. It was nice to speak to many other guests also visiting the hospital too. The view we had of the park was lovely and meant we got to see some of New Delhis wildlife. The foyer and down stairs restuarant have been nicely upgraded and a stark contrast to the old parts of the hotel. The checks of cars and people coming and going from the hotel were reassuring.

The rooms are in desperate need of a renovation, and the cleaning could definitely be elevated. Checklists may be helpful for the cleaners to ensure things are not just clean on the surface but completely clean. In saying this, it wasn't as dirty as some places I have stayed in New Zealand. The fridge in the room leaked, and a microwave would have been a game changer. There was a complete lack of any vegan options in both the hotels restaurants and Cafe. As I follow this diet for medical reasons, it led to me becoming a little unwell. Just some alternative milk and at least a couple of vegan options would benefit many of your guests.

Breakfast was great because of the wide variety of food. The Reception Staff were exceptional in their provision of service. Very Helpful as well

Cleanliness in the bedrooms. There is room for improvement especially cleaning the carpet. Otherwise, that was the only discomfort.
