location is within easy walking distance to Moonlight Beach and to downtown Encinitas

Very noisy location. Frequent loud trains late at night and early morning prevented sleep. Poorly lit parking lot with concrete dividers for cars and very little clear access to rooms were a hazard for tripping. Office staff were not always available.

Great views of the beach and ocean from our room, 5 min walk to the beach.

No breakfast but coffee in room

I felt rejected just because I was not white and I didn't get any kind of treat which it said they would and I seen a basket but they never offered me a pastry or a chip of bag which I don't need it...they could stick up there Asss,,,, 🖕🖕🖕

The Beach

The staff was wonderful and helpful. Amazing location just a few minutes walk from the beach & downtown Encinitas. Room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony, good AC.

There was some noise from the passing train but earplugs helped

We were comfortable with the snacks and the for the breakfast pastries that was a nice surprise and to have the beach gear available to use that was super nice

It it was we thought going to be disappointing without a pool or jacuzzi but the ocean made up for all of it

The price is too expensive for this kind of motel

Value for money

There was no breakfast The only amenity was a coffee pot in the room with paper cups. No glasses provided until requested the net day. The pictures on the interent are deceiving. You are charged a resort fee and, again, absolutely no amenities except for the fact it is two blocks from the beach. And, please do not stay at this hotel if you have any mobility issues. Even the trek to beach included down a steep hill. It is two blocks plus up hill to restaurants. My husband with an ankle issue had a difficult time. The only good thing is that it was in Encinitas. Also, the manager was kind and allowed us to check out after two nights, instead of the three we had booked.

Good location. Clean. Large room. Comfortable beds.

Train horn was a bit annoying. No glassware or stemware. No Vending machines for beverages. Staff seemed a bit disinterested and not very accessible.
