Suite magnifique.

The check-in jouney is unhappy. The staff is rude and not helpful. He did not active listen and provide support.
No hot water in shower. Despite they came to fix it but it lost our quality time. after fix, the shower water is luke warm and weak. It just better that cold shower. Howver, its the worse shower experience in our journey

We stayed here overnight after visiting the salt flats. The hotel is modern and made almost entirely of salt which is quite unique. Our room was cosy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The whole place was amazing! Its very clean, and the buffet is really good. The staff is great, you get an amazing view, and your in the middle of the salt flat! Definitley recommending you stay a few days here. I saw vicuñas from my window a few times. At the end of the day you can enjoy the spa

Well decorated salt hotel with view over the Salar, feels cosy especially with the small fire pits and nice bar area.
The hotel is isolated - we were expecting to rent bicycles (as promoted on the website) but were told this was not on offer anymore. We also asked about options to get a driver which were non existent. Simple things like organizing transfer to the airport and getting the shower fixed turned into long and difficult discussions and constant chasing of front desk staff. Food although being fairly good was expensive - and as the hotel is isolated, with no transport options provided, this was the only option. What was intended to be a relaxing stay ended up being spoilt by questionable professionalism and a lack of proactiveness. Not a fair price vs. the level of service provided - a shame as the place has lots of potential.

Hotel was nice. The regular staff were nice and helpful
BUT the Manager is completely heartless and unscrupulous. On our first night our heating unit in our room didn't work (it was -1C outside) and my wife got sick because it was extremely cold in the room. So in the middle of the night they moved us to a different room. No apology and no gesture to say sorry (usually at most hotels the Manager would put their customers first and go over and above to apologize and maybe give them something small token as an apology like a free drink...but nope, literally nothing). Then we got some mud on a towel and they said they couldn't wash the mud out and we had to pay to $20 USD to replace ONE hand towel (it wasn't even a big shower towel). As we were paying $240 USD per night (2x nights = $480 USD) which is expensive they still felt it necessary to charge us for this towel even after my wife got sick in one of their rooms. That's why the Manager doesn't care about his customers -- think about it: the Manager would rather grossly overcharge and make a profit on a towel than apologize/give a gesture to their customer, one of whom who got sick because of a hotel problem. If it wasn't for the Manager I'd give this 4.5/5 stars but he ruined our holiday of this special once in a lifetime experience so it's a solid 1 star. If I ever go back to Uyuni, I'll stay in the Palacio del Sal where I'm sure the Manager doesn't treat their customers worse than towels.

Room was small but very comfortable. No view at all, you have to pay even more for that even though the place was extremely quiet. Good location above the salt flat.
Too much wrong for such an expensive place. Only one, expensive, beer on offer. No Huari even though their name is plastered all over the place and it's on the menu. Jacuzzi doesn't work, draft beer pump was broken. Tried to tell us no buffet dinner (which was one reason we booked) but after complaint to the manager they did one which was acceptable if not memorable.

no better option in the salt desert, amazing view overlooking the flats, comfortable and cozy structure, spacious rooms, good breakfast.

Great view, friendly staff
Hotel is locked at night with no one to unlock the front door at 6am - a bit of an emergency risk. Also the jacuzzi doesn't face sunset which is a shame.

nice building
Fake “5 star hotel”. they just built a nice building and called it a day. terrible customer service. really weird way of running things. more than we enjoyed we were dealing with annoyances. we had to order things multiple times before they ever brought it to us, and sometimes they just never did. hot tub wasn’t hot when we reserved our appointment. they didn’t make any effort to make the experience nice. tried to force us to pay 180 bolivianos for dinner because they failed to explain that on the 2nd night they won’t let you order from the menu. at times they don’t let you use all of the promised facilities because others reserved it (like the game room, bar, ect). there is times of the day where it’s not possible to get food and drinks, which is weird because you are stuck in the middle of nowhere with no ability to get anything anywhere else. nah. not worth the money

The property itself was beautiful, the tours were enjoyable, and the location was nice against the salt flats
The bed sheets had blood stains on them, I only ate at the hotel restaurant and became violently ill. I traveled to La Paz and an ambulance had to be called because I was so sick and dehydrated from throwing up. I even had to delay my trip to Lake Titicaca because I was too sick to travel, which caused me to lose money because I needed to purchase a hotel in La Paz. I messaged the hotel about this to let them know I had extreme food poisoning and they were less than sympathetic. A beautiful location ruined by being so sick and a bad taste left because of lack of care from the hotel.

The quality of the food lets the place down. there needs to be choice at dinner not just a buffet

This is a classy hotel and it's beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great; the sunsets are amazing. Javier is THE BEST guide, ever; hands-down!! He took us on our nightly sky gazing tour plus the salt flat tour. We had so much fun and he was suggesting pictures and videos; we had a blast! Anna, who works at the spa, is an amazingly talented young lady and super sweet. The spa is fabulous with a sauna, jacuzzi and you can get massages, which are FANTASTIC! The hotel is made completely of salt!!
The buffet is quite pricey; 180bs per person (approx. $30)...it was the most expensive meal (by far) we had in our entire two weeks traveling around Bolivia. They do have a lounge area that serves snacky things like nachos, but it too is pricey. The thing is, you are in the middle of nowhere so you are at their mercy. Bottles of water were 20bs each for a 20oz bottle, which is over $3...That is a lot when you are at an elevation of 12,000 ft. and the air is very dry and you should stay hydrated to prevent altitude sickness. I would recommend to travelers that on your way to the hotel, stop in town (Uyuni or Colchani) at a tienda and get some snacks and LARGE bottles of water (con or sin gas:))...
