The location is perfect! Very quiet and a nice walk into City Centre or the Meadow.
Very bad wifi. No connection most of the time and made it very hard to plan our next travels.

The apartment is very fresh and clean and in a great complex. It is fully kitted out with everything you would expect. All the information and access instructions were first rate.
We thought we had booked an apartment closer to the city centre and being on the outskirts would have caused a problem as were attending a college event, but the owners were very good in helping make our arrangements work and in the end we got to appreciate a different part of the city that we hadn’t seen before.

A comfortable and spacious apartment, well-situated for our needs, in a quiet location. We appreciated the toiletries provided. It was good to be able to communicate with the host via WhatsApp.
The instructions to find the parking space and the lockbox were complicated (unnecessarily so) and unclear, so that we ended up parking in the wrong space - luckily we met John at the apartment and he was able to point out the correct space. It seemed unnecessary to turn the heating and hot water off between guests rather than using a timer.

The location of the apartment is not what I expected while I made the booking. It was a little bit far away from the city center.

Long winded confusing check in and location instructions. Leaving and entering the apartment on foot was a maze.
Rules Rules Rules threats threats threats about leaving this on and that on and threatening to take the security deposit if things weren't done properly and all of this with an extraordinary room price.

Did not realise there was 2 locations for the apartments. Thought we had booked in the city centre but was located in Jericho (didn’t realise Jericho was the name of the area as it is the first time we visited Oxford)
Took a long time to find our allocated parking and keys. Detailed instructions were provided but unnecessarily complicated. There was too much detail provided on what to do, especially during check-out, which was unexpected for a place we booked to stay. Would’ve been better to resend the instructions through WhatsApp (if contacted through there) so it won’t be overlooked. Personally caused a lot of stress to us.

Without the detailed instructions from John we would never have found the parking spot and the lockbox. Staying there for one night was ok, but not for longer.
Although we arrived at the announced time the cleaning of the apartment was not finished. The apartment has seen better days and needs renovation.

great location - lively area, restaurants, shops etc very nearby . also a 22 minute walk by the canal into the city centre,
the outside patio - no furniture to sit out on in such hot days.

The pillows were like rock ! Few cleaning issues that we did ourself . The cupboard was full of chairs and a matress , couldn't get to hang clothes in easily . Heating took a while to get going as it was off and windows open .

hot water on immersion so four adults getting ready for the theatre was a huge problem with hour long reheat times.
Also “River Front” not from the apartment for sure. you overlook buildings. the actual block faces the river, not this apartment. I hired it because it was River Front.

it could have been cleaner in the kitchen. It is looking tired and things need replacing and updating.

Bright, clean, lovely flat, with pretty much everything I could think we would have needed. Much better than a hotel, because we had 2 rooms, with a bathroom each, and a large kitchen / dinning room / living room, so we were able to cook a meal, eat at a table, then crash on the sofa to watch Strictly together! You wouldn't get that in a hotel!
Quick stroll into the town centre, but very quiet at night, so no disturbed sleep. Great having underground car park, so felt the car was safe all weekend.
I would be nit picking here - there wasn't any dishwasher tabs, but plenty of liquid soap, so easy to wash up by hand.
Also, finding the parking bay and flat was a little challenging, but the Host was on the phone to talk us in, so not a problem

Spacious, clean and a lovely location. Great stroll along the canal into the city centre.
Owner took the damage deposit 4 months before my stay. The booking policy states this is taken 2 weeks before your stay. When I followed this up there was no apology or acknowledgment of this mistake. I was offered the option of cancelling if this has caused financial issues! Which I wasn’t going to do as the night away was a treat for my Mum. Really not great. Otherwise, all very good.

Host was welcoming on arrival, so quite shocked about the response to the damaged car. We will be looking into compensation.
Hot water ran out after 1st person showered. Bath wouldn't fill. Shower didn't drain. Extractor fans not working. No curtains & blinds didn't fit. Beds very small. Parked in 4B parking space & there was something leaking from the ceiling, which we thought was just water. It has damaged the car bonnet, reported to the host & have been told he has no idea what it is. Do not park in that space, unless you want a damaged car & no apology or offer to repair it. Left feeling angry 😠

Issues with collecting the keys but quickly resolved
Quiet location, pleasant walk by the canal to get to the town centre (20 minutes) good facilities in the apartment we had everything we needed
Parking space is tight (but they all are). Instructions on where to find the ‘bin’ at the end of the stay were a little vague so we ended up taking our black bin bag home but it didn’t spoil the overall experience

Location excellent. Warm, clean and well equipped. Very safe.
Good communication, very friendly staff, who went out their way to ensure we had everything we needed.
Second bed could be bigger, although it was comfy.
Very pleased to have parking, however if you were less mobile you may need a taxi back if you are unable to park on site.
However this did not affect us, we enjoyed the walk along the canal.
