Great proximity to town but unfortunately on a main road. We asked for a quiet road which was extremely quiet but a bit small. Parking was to the rear and was free. The shower seemed like it had recently been revamped and was very clean.

The property is on the main road which is quite busy. Our room was quiet though. The blind for the bedroom was faulty and did not block the light out. We had to use a scarf and a coat to make the room dark. The wardrobe door did not close and was in poor condition. Lacked a few finishing touches and was a bit too small. Ok for one night but not good for longer

No one to reach when I arrived early in the morning. Nobody answered the phones so left standing by the roadside.

Sit down breakfast was not available at the Newton Guest House. However, a message from the Newton prior to arrival said they do offer a takeway breakfast if needed. The room was clean and had a nice newly reburbished bathroom. There was tea/coffee facilities in the room. We were warmly greeted when we arrived.

Conveniently located, about a 15 minute walk into the city centre. My mother and I shared a ground floor twin room. The bathroom was small but adequate and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Though it was on a main road, the traffic noise wasn't too bad. Small convenience store next door or a 5 minute walk to a couple of pubs and/or Tesco. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The parking was fairly tight and on a first come basis, which wasn't ideal but I can appreciate it's good to have any parking available that close to Oxford CBD.

Amir was great with communication and made us feel at home.

The rooms were very clean today and gave us a very comfortable stay. The location is really good and is just a 15/20minute walk to the centre of Oxford or to the Thames path which is a great place to get outdoors.

Everything was very good overall and we wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like about the property.

Unfortunately the TV didn’t work at all, we even tried retuning all of the channels but couldn’t get anything and there was nobody available to tell at the time.

Booked a last minute trip for our 6th anniversary as a surprise for my wife. We been to top 19 of 20 top places in UK, this made 20/20. Facilities was great for 2 on a short overstay. Location was awesome, literally a 5 minute walk to town, passing a bridge over town ( can hire paddle boats etc, except we wasn't staying for that). Room was ok, clean, tidy and shower room/toilet was clean and nice hot water. Room was warm, Temperature was very good , not too hot not too cold. A lot of Hussle and bustle locally, busy little town, watch out for the cyclists!! lots of them. Souvenirs, no problem, lots of shops to choose from. Went to Brown's Cafe in Covered Market, was ok Breakfast. Shiraz restaurant was Exceptional meal and value for money considering the area and close locality to London.

A bit disappointed by Brown's Café(covered market), as fellow Café owner's we had a high expectation of standard, but the food was ok. Reasonable priced for the area.

The position is great and parking is very handy (first come firs serve, beware). 15 mins easy walk and you're in the center. We imagine it is even better in the summer as it is near a couple of very nice pubs near the river.

A couple of knobs in the bathroom came off and the shower itself was so small I couldn't turn in it. Communication with the staff was minimal and a bit delayed on the day of arrival.

Completely over priced for what you are getting. Didn't sleep at all as walls are so thin you could hear the people next to you constantly. Floors creacking. I was very dissapointed with the whole stay. Mattress really uncomfortable and hardly any facilities in the bedroom.

Location is amazing & with parking too. Paid parking nearby is not expensive in the grand scheme of things. Big room which for a twin is rare. Double and single bed. Modern, smart bathroom. Smart TV. Tea & coffee.

Everything. Great location. Easy to park. Host was just lovely. Room was spotlessly clean, quiet and the bed was a pleasure to sleep on. We will definately return when next staying over in Oxford.
