The apartment was super comfortable, everything settled and ready for a couple of nights. The panorama is breathtaking: we could see the whales from the balcony

The location was brilliant close enough to amenities such as cafes and dining, yet away from the hustle and bustle. Beach access was across the road and was perfect for those early morning exercise runs or just a leisurely stroll.

The main bathroom toilet had a slow leak, this wasn't a huge issue, it just needed a repair

The apartment itself has a lot of potential, unfortunately it is in need of a little love and some maintenance. The main bedroom mattress has damaged springs and needs replacing, the pillow mattress topper does not fix it, after one night of poor sleep and a sore back the next morning, my partner and I opted to sleep in the other room which had 2 single beds, not the holiday we were after, these mattresses were better than the other but still not ideal and should be replaced, the bedding in the apartment resulted in 3 nights of disturbed sleep. We found that 3 of the 4 balcony doors do not lock, the latch does not secure and the door can be pulled open. Hot water only allows for 5 minute showers and takes time to reheat, not ideal in colder months or if like me you have long hair and need to wash it. The private rooftop balcony provided a lovely view however it was very unkept with weeds, damaged walls, debris all over the pavers and broken furniture which needs to be taken away, so was not a very inviting space. It was also a little off-putting to find shirts hanging in the main room closet. Water damage was also visible on two parts of the ceiling.

Location is excellent and the apartment well equipped with pleasant ocean views easy access to the beach and local facilities. A relatively short but fairly vigorous hike to Noosa Heads and its stunning scenery.

1. The venue charged a 2.5% transaction fee to my credit card over and above what was agreed with and confirmed by Booking.com. I have raised a dispute regarding this charge as it was NOT notified to me prior to confirming the booking (which could not be cancelled). Time wasted in pursuing a refund with Booking.com (and its inaction to date) has taken the edge off what would have been nice stay. 2. No aircon in the lounge area. Sea breeze and fans do not do enough to counter the heat from the morning/daytime sun (at least during my stay at unit 2/11).
