This is value-for money comfort in the centre of Double Bay, surrounded by restaurants, pubs, cafes and boutiques. It,s close to bus and ferry. Bed was comfortable in a quiet and very well maintained room. Next time we look forward to breakfast on the balcony as well!

Location is brilliant. Margaret restaurant is literally across the road.

A little run down but it has character.

The location of the Savoy is wonderful - a charming area, cafes and stylish shops at the doorstep, supermarket close by and the wonderful Woollahra library only a short stroll. A five min walk and you are at the ferry which is only 2 stops from Circular Quay. Reception staff at the Savoy are always helpful, friendly and professional and all rooms are comfortable.

We are repeat patrons of the Savoy and have only just discovered the very pleasant reception area lounge on the first floor. This is entirely our own fault. A nice bonus which we will look forward to availing ourselves of next visit.

Perfect location for Sydney, great rooms for a family

No interaction from staff at front desk.

Our family of four were accommodated comfortably in our room, which had a queen bed and two singles. Free laundry facilities were a bonus. The location was great - there were lots of shops and dining options within easy walking distance.

Hotel is a little tired and our room had no natural light.

Very central

Description of luxury room over looking garden was misleading. We stayed in a family room too which was dismal. Dark drafty noisy.. . We demanded to move rooms to a more luxury room but only two had windows and we're in demand.

The modern and stylish decoration, clean quiet room, comfortable bed and shower, convenient location, good wifi.

No house phone, door is noisy to close. reception on first floor accessible by stairs (not easy to check in with luggage as need room card to use lift)

If I had a telephone.....and if I was given a phone with auto wake up calls. As it was the overnight staff person did NOT knock on my door to wake me at 4am for an early flight
