The view!!! Unmatched! And the fact that we were served a delicious breakfast on our own private balcony (superior room) was special.

No fan or aircon in the unit so no moving air . Only downfall to an otherwise perfect stay, partner and I have never felt so relaxed!

The location was fantastic, fabulous view and very quiet. The room was amazing very spacious with a huge comfortable bed. It had fully sliding patio doors out onto the balcony which opened the room right up, you could shower looking at the view of the ocean. A very nice large balcony with a table, 2 chairs and lounger with an amazing view of the stunning sea and coastline. Monica and her girls were absolutely fantastic, she went that extra mile to look after you and the breakfast was perfect.

we were kindly upgraded to a larger room with a little 'stoep' and a beautiful sea view, though all the rooms are sea-facing with an uninterrupted view on Walker bay, comfortable bed, absolutely fresh and clean premises, referral and assistance to reserve a restaurant (yes, you need to reserve a restaurant, only the third (and last!!), restaurant could accommodate us) - we only stayed one night but it was a wonderful experience

not that we didn't like it, but with a little effort the breakfast can be transformed - a tub of fresh jam perhaps, a little slab of butter rather than a tiny foil package, fresh juice - but the freshly baked scones were delicious! service was friendly and comfortable and the view unbeatable :)

The view of the sea, hard to beat! Mónica, housekeeper, was an excellent and helpful host.

Breakfast. Whilst this was adequate, it was not at the standard that I have come to expect from guest houses in South Africa.

Beautiful location, very relaxing, waking up to ocean view, mountains and hills, the best part. Monica, our host and guest house manager, is a true gem. She really makes all the guests feel welcome from the day of arrival to the day of departure. She makes every effort to ensure that you get what you're looking for. Lots of patience with the little ones, even to the point of baking cookies for them. She loves her job and that makes the stay worthwhile. Breakfast was on point and delicious every day, even though loadshedding happened, the team made sure that the delivery of meals were sorted.

Limited activities and entertainment for little children in the surrounding area. Absence of the owner and lack of communication upfront, however Monica surely makes up for it. No UPS to continue with Wi-Fi during loadshedding.

We booked a Superior King Suite with Sea View and I can honestly say this is one of the most wonderful views that we have ever had at a hotel/guesthouse. The room was also beautifully appointed with a super comfortable bed. We were able to watch the Southern Right Whales bobbing and "spypopping" in the sea from our balcony....truly sensational. Kleinzee is in a quiet location a couple of km outside of Gansbaai and finding a cab is problematic so you will need a car if you want to venture into town for a meal. Also very handy if you are looking at shark cage diving as Kleinbaai is very close. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!!
