A typical budget hotel.

Our room was roasting when we first entered. The air conditioning did not work, so we went to reception to tell them. Apparently, the air con is not switched on until June, regardless of the weather, or their guests discomfort. We asked to move rooms to one which had not been in full sun all afternoon. This room whilst still warmer than we'd like was a little cooler. This hotel lists air conditioning amongst its facilities. It should be clear that this is not always available.

location was great, free parking across the street, breakfast was good!

we almost got stuck in the elevator a few times, we’d take it to ground level and the door wouldn’t open, it would then proceed to level one, not open and then it would go to ground and luckily open.

Hotel location is amazing. In the very calm part of the Cognac center, close to Martell and Remy Martin. Big free parking just in front of the hotel. Hotel is cozy and clean, good option for solo travelers or couples. Ideal for business reasons. Breakfast was good with fresh food and bakery products. Staff was helpful when needed.

The room was cold, not clean, noisy heating system no hot water in shower.

I had 3 rooms in total and all 3 had unclean bathrooms. First 2 had a lot of noise so I moved which they were very helpful with. All the carpets were stained and it just had an old, tired and unloved feel about the place.

Location was great near city center and lots of parking options around. but that was about it. I wouldn't stay here again for the price I paid.

Breakfast was not good at all, limited choice, nearly no hot options, often run out of stock at 8 AM not continues filled. Room was small, noise, thin walls and cleaning was awful, spend 3 nights and every day the made the bed but did not clean the rest of the room, the floor, bathroom was not cleaned. Yeah new towels were placed but that was it. Overall not a good impression.
