Staff so lovely, very friendly and told us a lot of information about the location.

Although breakfast was beautiful for my travelling companions, we were not informed of the breakfast fee, and no gluten free option was provided but I still had to pay.

I had a wonderful stay, the hosts were extremely nice and the room spotless. I would like to return in winter or even again in summer.

The atmosphere (decoration and staff)

La Bournerie had been closed due to the COVID pandemic but are back in action and have a superb small hotel. They allowed us to arrive late and provided an excellent French breakfast. Stay here for a real feel of the French Alps.

This Hotel is stunning,in itself and the surrounding area and views .Words dont do it justice ,If you like wood and comfortable relaxing rooms ( bedrooms/lounge/dinning )then this ticks the lot . The Hosts were very nice & helpful and knowledgeable, They even got us a late table at local restaurant ( brill food and service ) . Breakfast was lovely , coffee and food, with brilliant service . All in clean & wounder full dinning area. Thanks ps the local cheese from half way down the mountain is a MUST , ,

Whilst traveling from Geneva, Nathalie phoned to check all was well and asked if I’d like a table ready in the restaurant on my arrival. I was late due to heavy snow but still got a warm welcome. The staff were very helpful, even stopping for a quick chat after work. As a solo traveler I wasn’t just seated in a corner and forgotten, each evening I was seated in a different part of the restaurant, by windows looking out across the pistes and mountains beyond or the village down below. Just metres from the piste, ski in from above, ski out to the chairlifts a few hundred metres below. The restaurant was very popular, especially Friday and Saturday evenings with a great atmosphere. The food was fantastic. The lounge was very comfortable and cosy. At night I could watch the pistebashers from the balcony. The shower was hot and the bed very comfortable.

I can’t think of anything, I hope nothing changes before I get a chance to visit again.
