Host was lovely and very accommodating

Water pressure was very very poor

Loved the scenery and the quietness unfortunately the weather didn't match

It was dated and in need of a face lift but was spotless clean and comfy

Cooking facilities were poor. Had cereal and toast with tea. Noise from guests on floor above lasted until after midnight. Lighting was poor from a reading point of view. Generally we would have been disappointed and decided to forego our stay on the Sunday night. Decided to go home due to our unhappiness with the facility.

The bed was the best part of the set up. The lights in the room poor. Kitchen facilities poor. The shower was not functioning properly with the water temperature changing up and down when my wife had a shower. I decided to avoid having a shower. Generally very disappointed and would not recommend. Poor value for money

Recommended to everyone, relax in the middle of Co. Westmeath, near to Athlone and other villages/towns. Lovely family, very social, helpful in all aspects, the pets are gorgeous and very friendly. Really recommend it and will visit them again.

cozy little loft with everything you need. The space has a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere and it’s in a charming village. Gael even offered to pick us up wine when mentioned that we were without. It was honestly a bonus to meet the two dogs Oscar and Zoey, they were adorable! For those working remotely the WiFi has download and upload speeds of over 60mbps.

It’s not near anything, the local grocer is very limited, no wine/beer and is cash only. There is restaurant but it was closed. so if you are cycle touring please please please bring your food. It didn’t even occur to me to check that the restaurant would be open...we ended up at the golf course getting cash back from that lovely man Michael.

Lovely dog called Oscar very very friendly,the location was a bit remote considering it was called the Village B&B. Not really what I wanted but fine nonetheless. Clean but basic,but no TV was a big disappointment.

I like the fact that it was exceptionally clean and that when I had a problem getting in to the apartment when I lost the key. There was no fuss and it was sorted very nicely. The lad at the apartment was a credit to the organisers. Lovely people and lovely place.

The bookings.com genius awards free continental breakfast was a lovely bonus. Everything was perfect and very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Westmeath. the apartment had everything we needed and more. Thank you Village B & B for making our stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. Nothing to dislike.......

A lovely quiet place and suited our group as we were cycling and able to park at the property. Because the weather was so good we ate all out meals in the grounds. The couple were very friendly and very welcoming and nothing was of to them. Lovely quite gardens.

Quirky, spacious, quiet and comfortable loft with well stocked kitchen and a homely feel. The host was friendly and helpful. Located close to The Greenway cycle path. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Village BnB. Gael and her family, including her 2 dogs, Oscar and Zoe, were so friendly and accommodating to both ourselves and our two dogs. The accommodation was perfect, very cozy and homely. We especially enjoyed an evening by the fire pit relaxing under the stars. The location was ideal also with many walks in close proximity and a short driving distance to both Moate and Athlone with an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Great location, excellent set up and really nice hosts including the friendly dogs. The fire pit is a lovely place to relax.

Fantastic location.

Quiet & central, lovely garden. Great shower and wifi .... if you are travelling Ireland ... you will come to appreciate when you manage to get both !! Cute little studio with oven, portable hotplate + microwave. Google maps puts you outside a cowshed .... it's not there .... it is in town. Go past school (on left hand side), B & B is 4th house after the school - there is a sign !

Very quiet relaxing place, nice garden with different seating areas, friendly dogs greeting you every morning.
