long story.., a/c didn’t work, no new towels nor cleaning during my stay ( 3 nights), breakfast was the minimum of the minimum, coffee, 2 toast and egg’s…

great location, with direct access to private beach restaurant as part of the hotel hotel AND restaurant are great value for money

even if it was a private beach, we still had lots of people coming to sell us tours etc. Not the most private place

We loved our stay at Baraka, the location is perfect. - They provide free sunbeds and umbrella - The staff is really nice and helpful - Everything is close (shops, souvenirs, attractions) - It is the cleanest beach in Zanzibar - There are several tour organizers next to the hotel - At night it is the best place to have dinner on the beach

- Unfortunately the matresses are not the most comfortable - Sometimes it can be loud at night

First impression was not the best, but in the end we found out it was very good place to spend our time in Nungwi. Hotel is right at the beach,just few steps from the room to sunbeds and beautiful beach. At the beach you will find lot of local people(everyone is captain :D) they are friendly,we had nice chat with them. And for sure get trips from Paradise office-side of restaurant at the beach,and reach Mohamed he is great guy. Everything is close enough:restaraurants,markets, local souvenir sellers and etc. Also "taxi station" is near,so it is no problem to get one. Hotel provide good breakfast-fruits,smoothie,coffee and eggs(you choose pancake,fried,omelete,boiled and scrambled). At the beach is Baraka restaurant where you can eat great food for fair,but higher prices(in village prices are lower)-in the evening you can choose fish and they grill it for you :) In the room is not much light because right in front of windows are palms and trees. Room was big enough for us, as we used it just for sleeping, shower and changing clothes. So Baraka beach bungalows is great accomodation, perfect location at the beautiful beach with great people. For good money you get good place to stay-its not AI type resort but it was really good for us. Hakuna Matata-pole pole

Wet smell in the room. Not enough light in the room. Noise from the close club Africana-night club. At the beach everyone want to sell you something(it is same everywhere in Zanzibar). Bathroom should get some renovation,water pressure is low(all Zanzibar,but you know you are in Africa).

Staff amazing, as was the location. Rooms in Bungalows basic but clean and as expected. Good value for money food and drinks. Great menu and I could eat the curry every day!!! Chips were like our nan used to make....yum.

Need to buy new towels, bed linen and table clothes as some were fraying and burnt by cigarettes.

I have stayed here a few times. It’s always the same. very reliable, great location, good food.

The only thing great was the location. Very close to the beach. The room was quite spacious and bathroom is huge.

For starter's, the reception was always abandoned. No professionalism about the place. The tiles on the bathroom floor is so smooth and slippery: which can be very dangerous. The restaurant is an apology. Though the restaurant staff are okay but the food itself is disappointing. There isn't really alot of option for breakfast. Even lunch was of very low standard. When served, it was not hot just warm. The fruit juices were not tasting fresh. I won't recommend the restaurant to anyone. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

location in the beach and everything in the round( eat,restoran,shop) in our restorant good.Fresh seafood is good.

we booked 8month back and not possible it not our room free.1day we stay not our booked room! And we stay 5 days and newer cleaning our room.One day cleaning and bring new towel because we ask.

Very good location, clean and nice room with patio.

I loved the location, a few steps from a beautiful beach but not far from town either. My room, bed and bathroom were big, comfortable and super clean. The restaurant is very good and the staff is super nice and welcoming. The barbacue dinners at the beach with candelights are idyllic and there are other great restaurants and bars neraby. I really recommend this place for mid range travellers and families.

Everything was great. The staff is really nice, room was clean and comfortable, the accommodation is right on the beach it has its own sunbaths and towels. Also bottled water is provided by accommodation. Breakfast was ok. The restaurant that is part of the accommodation is really good and cheap. I would specially like to commend Edi the waiter, super pleasant guy.

great hotel with very helpful manager Juma :) sunbeds always available for guests; in the evening dinner served on the beach - very good prepared with good prices; great location- close to the city; fresh juice for the breakfast

sometimes very loud music was played in the neighborhood - was not possible to sleep; breakfast could be more varied

Near the beach

Old, dirty rooms. I paid for a sea view room, but the view was completely covered by greenery.

Beachfront hotel, clean, very friendly staff, restaurant is the best one in Nungwi!
