Clean spacious room with good air conditioning. It's July 2023. Josipa and Ivica are extremely friendly. Their customer service went beyond our expectations. Pritvica Lakes is exactly a 12 minute walk. The property is large with many lovely goats. There is a game room and restaurant with a great menu and delicious food. After checking out, we were able to leave our car on the property while visiting the lakes. We highly recommend staying here.

The room was cute and lovely, very clean and comfortable. The whole place was really well-designed and organized. Perfect location next to the park entrance.

I wish there was an option to buy a la carte breakfast--I don't eat a lot in the morning and the only choices in the restaurant are: buy a big buffet breakfast for 15 euro or eat no breakfast at all.

It's a pension, so we knew what we booked but the room is pretty basic. Comfortable but basic. We stayed for two nights, just to do Plitvice, so it worked really well for us. We're not big breakfast people, so the breakfast buffet was a bit steep at 15euro a head.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Beautiful location and only a 5/10 minute walk to Plitvice Lakes entrance 1. Great to stay here and then beat the queues for the lakes, by getting there early. Plenty of parking too

I couldn't move due to heavy snow, the road was closed! but luckily, one of staff have to do in other city, and take me by her car to the city. I could move to zagreb from the city. she was really kindly, she helped to buy bus ticket too. thank you very much. and owner also borrow me his shoes.there is a lot snow, it really help me. and room is big, clean, close with plitvice lake. this is the best to stay if you are going to visit the lake.

A warm welcome from the owners. Beautiful view out on the snowy meadow from my room. Three course dinner (no choices, but I liked what I got) for a great price. Lovely breakfast in the morning with freshly cooked eggs to order, and a great choice of everything. The bonus was the owner allowed me to keep the room till my bus was leaving at 17.15. This is low season but still it was a huge bonus to me to be able to return from the stunning Plitvice Lakes Park and change out of my hiking gear into my city clothes.

There are 19 steps up to the room; this might not suit everybody. The owner offered to carry my suitcase up the stairs but I managed it on my own - up and down. There is a need for better signage. I and another visitor both went to the old building as there is no sign at all to indicate that is no longer the accommodation. The place also seems to have a new name.

Super comfy bed, great shower, delicious food, best value for money in the area. In addition, the location is perfect, super close to the park (less than 10 minutes on foot) and to the bus stop (ask to get off at Rastovača), perfect for backpackers. Both the owners and the staff are absolutely wonderful and will make you feel right at home. I highly recommend :)

Amazing stay with a great location as it is about 5mins to the entrance for Plitvice Lakes National Park! Staff was friendly even though i got in quite late and patiently answered my questions about the national park!

Pansion Danica was the perfect stay for a trip to Plitvice Lakes. It’s within a 10 min walk to the park entrance 1, with a cozy and spacious room for a single traveller (bathroom, desk). The staff were very welcoming, and the food (both breakfast and dinner) were excellent! I did not stay long enough to enjoy the additional amenities - Pansion Danica is more like a hotel complex - such as the playroom, playground, bike service, or archery area - but if you happen to have more time, they would be a wonderful addition to your stay.

for a single room, the slanted ceiling may be too low for someone above 150cm (I did not have a problem with this, but as a reference for future guests).

The one factor that differentiates Pansion Danica from the rest, is undoubtedly the wonderful hosts that they are! My special thanks to the wonderful hostess Anna, who went out of the way to help us find our bag which we had forgotten in the Flixbus on our way to Plitvice. In spite of having many other guests to serve, she took the time out to make numerous phone calls, use all her contacts and help find our lost bag the next day. Thank you once again Anna, you are simply amazing! :) Talking about the rooms, we had ours booked in the old villa, which had an antique look and feel. Pansion Danica is 10 minutes walk away from Plitvice Gate 1 and has a nice countryside feel. If you're visiting by car, they have free parking space available, and if you are traveling by bus, make sure you visit before sunset as it gets really dark along the way at night! They have an in-house restaurant that serves tasty food at reasonable prices and the quantity is really good! They also allow bag storage (after check out) in the common area in the restaurant, but we preferred storing them, free of charge, at the Entrance 1. I would definitely recommend staying at Pansion Danica a night before visiting Plitvice, so that you may visit the national park very early in the morning to avoid the crowds. You may have an extended stay if you'd like to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the national park.

Perfect location walking distance from entrance 1 of the Plitvice lakes National park so you don't need to drive there. The owners were really nice. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner there and food was really good. Good quality/price.

Location was perfect for us; short walk to entrance 1. Pansion Danica allowed us to park our car there checkout, so we were able to have an early morning park visit. Staff very friendly and helpful!
