We had a wonderful experience at this home. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. Host was very helpful and responded promptly to any questions I had.

We were a family of five and stayed here for the weekend. We were very happy as the house is comfortable and has lots of room. The owner was very responsive to all our questions.

We had such high hopes staying here. Location was not as close to town as described. Especially if you have kids, it’s a long walk through narrow one way streets. We ubered the majority of the time and spent way too much money doing so. House is also on a very busy street, cars racing by. Area stores and restaurants that were within somewhat walking distance were not very comfortable as the class of people coming in and out made us a feel a little unsafe. Construction going on two houses down so it was loud. Gas grill was filthy and looked like it hadn’t be cleaned in years. It really should have been ready to use right away, instead we spent the first afternoon scrubbing and cleaning it so it was usable. Patio furniture was pretty sad looking. Patio was not a very comfortable place to sit as the yard needs to be manicured and trees should be cut back. Back yard is private except people do walk on the path to the left of the house. Bathrooms weren’t great or clean feeling. No water pressure in shower. Upstairs bathroom had a leaky toilet so floor and rugs were always wet. Looks like they had previous water issues from toilet as kitchen ceiling was cracking and had water dripping in spots at times. Owner was responsive and apologetic the first night we arrived after pullout couch was in filthy condition from not being cleaned (dead bugs and dirt/dust) Upstairs queen bed super uncomfortable, mattress has to be 20+ years old. Not a great few days of sleeping as we had hoped it would be. It could be a budget friendly spot to stay but needs some updates and a thorough deep clean.

Although we really enjoy the house itself especially the backyard garden, there was a lot of mold that affected a lot of are allergies. We recommend just a deep clean and this house will be perfect!

Six of us stayed the weekend for the Christmas stroll. Communications with the owner were great and he was flexible. Nice comfortable home in a good location. Walked to town during the day and was able to use Uber at night. House is equipped with everything we needed. Very much enjoyed our stay and will look to return

The house is spacious and comfortable and in a fairly convenient location (next to the hospital and school - good to know if you’re just arriving on the island and don’t know your way around, and there are no Ubers to be had!). It’s just outside of town, so it was quiet and the backyard was nice. It’s an easy enough walk, or an easier bike ride, into town. We mostly used bikes to get around. The house can get really musty, and there’s mildew in places and general dampness (sometimes we found ourselves putting on damp clothes). The air conditioning unfortunately didn’t work upstairs, which made for some sweaty nights. It also wasn’t working downstairs. When it got pretty hot, we reached out to Robert who was super responsive. Three repairmen showed up the next morning - one to put in window units, one to fix the central air and a plumber to fix the broken toilet on the main floor. Apparently there had been a leak the previous year that may have contributed to the issues. Overall, our interaction was friendly and informal - much like it was elsewhere on beautiful Nantucket. This being our first stay, we felt like we found a good little spot to enjoy a range of activities and have room to spread out.

Spent 4 days at Roberts property. The listing was even more spacious and beautiful than advertised. We fit 8 adults comfortably. Robert was extremely responsive any time there was a concern. The property is about a 20 minute walk from town, I would recommend renting bikes if you’re not a big walker!

this place smells so badly of mold/mildew asked owner to come over and he claimed didn’t smell a thing. The beds are filthy and pillows are stained mattress even was dated back 40 yrs asked for a refund he refused i took photos and will be sending to homeaway, credit card company this is the worst rental we ever encountered and only had to stay bc hotels for 5 people didn’t exsist. cant wait to get out of here and breath and shower . Surprised we all didn’t end up at hospital next door bloody noses , coughing , wheezing , puffed eyes all from being trapped inside a moldy dirty house so not with Covid policy cleaners spent 1 hr been coming to ACK for 20 yrs don’t stay at this house

We had a great time, Boise was perfect for our stay. Had all the amenities that we needed. Robert was more than helpful and accommodating. Would stay again!!

Booking and communicating with owner were easy. All supplies for kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were supplied and appreciated. Plenty of space to spread out. Back yard was private and pleasant. Inspite of Covid and mask requirement in town, a great time was had by all.

Rented the house for a girls weekend. Worked out well! Everything was wonderful and clean. The walk to town is not too long (as long as you're not in heels). Uber is all over the island so grabbing a ride wasn't an issue. Highly recommend staying here...will definitely be back!

Booking was very easy, accessing the property was very easy. The property was clean, the beds were very comfortable. Everything that you need is provided for you so you don't have to worry about carrying anything from the ferry to the house other than your personal belongings. The best part was when leaving everything is taken care of for you. We just cleaned up a bit. The cleaning company comes in right after you leave. The property is beautiful and very quiet. You can hear the church bells ring in the morning and you can hear the fairy whistles if you listen. You are about a mile from downtown. There is a grocery store very close by. This is considered Mid Island. I would definitely recommend this home for your stay. It was very cozy and large enough for all 6 of us. The property backs to a park. A trail runs along side of the property. I love to run and thought that was a great perk.

Thank you Robert for making our weekend visit to Nantucket complete! We loved our walks to and from town through the bird sanctuary and your home has the cozy, clean feel of a wonderful seaside location.

Great place with more room than we even needed. Everything was clean and comfortable. Only issue is that the property is not a 5 min walk to Main Street as advertised. Its about 15 and then a 10 min walk to town. Its doable but distance with grandparents and children was more than we could do so we ended up taking lots of Ubers.

My sister's family had a wonderful stay in this house during my daughter's wedding. They walked several times into town and enjoyed doing so. The house is beautifully furnished and has all the amenities anyone could want. Dr. Sarvis was very responsive to our questions and needs. It was a very good value and we highly recommend it.

House was great and nicer in person than pictures make it seem. Backyard was lovely to relax and enjoy in the afternoon. You can walk to the grocery store and a few other stores under 10 mins. Downtown is more like a 15-20 min walk or easy Uber ride away. There’s a master on the first floor and upstairs is a full/queen bedroom with a small couch, additionally upstairs is a bedroom with two twin beds and a separate room that has a couch that pulls out to a bed. Would prob be best suitable for kids. Upstairs has shared bathroom. Downstairs kitchen and living room were open and roomy considering the size of the house.

Very nice house! We came for a wedding weekend. Easy enough to Uber into town - it’s about a mile from the ferry. Would recommend it

The cottage is beautiful both inside and out. The location is also excellent. The backyard is private and the landscaping is phenomenal. Very private, large enough for a family with all the amenities you could want. I would definitely recommend it or stay again if I went to the island.

Lovely home! We enjoyed our stay!

Close to the heart of town yet next to a green nature preserve. We were able to stay here without a car -- renting bikes, walking and taking an occasional taxi. Also close to the Sparks Avenue stores and restaurants. We took 20-30 minute bike rides to 3 different beaches. We hope to return.

The cottage was everything advertised. Clean and easy to feel comfortable in. Kitchen has everything you need, plenty of hot water and comfortable beds! Pretty interior and exterior.

Loved the house and garden. Perfect for our son's family and the two of us. Wonderful garden path to the windmill! Owner fantastic! Not quite as close to town or beach as we thought so be sure to plan transportation. Uber worked well for us.
