We loved our stay here! The condo was clean, well stocked and just perfect! Great location and it's right next to a police station if that matters to anyone. Also right next to a great Italian place: Salento(Great pizza!). Pool was perfect as well.
The best part was working with Lillian. I don't think I've ever had such great service! We had a few minor things break like the dryer knob and the pool pump and Lillian took care of them immediately and was in constant contact. She also checked in regularly, sent restaurant recommendations and even took care of all the transportation arrangements we needed. We had one of the kids get an ear infection and asked her about local doctors and she immediately sent us all the info we needed and checked back to make sure we were good. It was just so nice to have someone there to help us while in a foreign country! I could honestly go on and on about her great service!

We had a great spring break week staying at the elements. The unit is beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 6. The pool is perfect, very large and not crowded at all. The beach club is very convenient to have right there. Neighborhood was very fun to walk around - plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The host Ann was very easy to work with. Lilian the concierge was so helpful and kind in setting up activities for the week and great advice for our week in PDC. Thank you so much for our great week!!

Communication was excellent between the owner, manager and myself. Penthouse is in a great location in Playa del Carmen, just off of 5th ave, and within walking distance of restaurants, and grocery stores. Bed were super comfortable, and there were blackout blinds for all rooms. We enjoyed our stay.

We just returned to Canada after our 12 day stay in this 2 level penthouse condo. Travelled with my husband, 2 young boys and my parents. We all had plenty of space in the condo and it had everything we needed! The host of the property was wonderful to deal with and the assigned concierge service that we received even before we arrived was wonderful. The grounds and pool area were very well kept, clean and secure. Best part is having the private beach for condo residence only. Had a wonderful Super Bowl party on the beach with 2 big screens and food!
Only thing we all wished was that the pool was slightly heated. We could only hop in to cool off and then had to get out. Thanks again!!

We had a great time in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We opted not to stay in a traditional resort and instead rent through VRBO - we are beyond thrilled with this decision. The condo was very clean, well stocked, felt safe, and was super family-friendly. We ordered food and grocery deliveries through a local app. The Elements has a low-key vibe that allowed us to relax. The kids loved the pool and had a great time swimming. Renting the condo allowed us to walk to local shops and restaurants easily. If you want the best of both worlds, I recommend private rentals coupled with resort day passes. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Finding great places for our family of 7 can be challenging. The property was beautiful. The pool area is great for all ages; different depth pools to serve up sun for all. A quick walk to tons of shops and great dining. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lilian was fantastic and a great help during our stay and after when we became stranded from cancelled flights. A beautiful and safe location for families.

We had a great time in Playa for spring break 2023! The condo was very clean, and had just about every amenity we needed for the week. There is a 7 Eleven and a pharmacy right across the street from the condo, which we used, as well as tourist police outpost. We felt very safe. Popular 5th Ave was just a 12 min walk away with lots of shopping, and many restaurants.
Ann Marie and the concierge Lilian were both great and very responsive.
One note about the property: the private beach is pretty small and crowded, and the water is not ideal for swimming right there. You will want to walk down the beach a little ways if you want to swim. In the private beach-area, we did appreciate the food and beverage stand.

This was our first stay at The Elements. It was a great experience. Our condo was lovely. The owner was great to work with. Our concierge, Lillian was also great to work with. The staff was very helpful. We particularly enjoyed Edwardo, Ana, Engel,and Damian.The beach bar is a great amenity. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. We loved the area. It’s full of great restaurants. We enjoyed meeting so many other people staying at The Elements. We made some new friends.

Excellent property. Close to all the amenities but not too close to be noisy. Beach club in walking distance. Apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Washer and dryer in unit made life very easy.
Check in process was very smooth and property manager was available to answer questions we had.

Our group was 13-65 in ages...Great ammenities, small beach for any playtime, but the pool and beach club made up for that. Our host Lillian did a great job at communicating and helped us with all of our excursions. Pool was beautiful and very comfortable loiunge chairs! This is an older community that we enjoyed with minimal kiddos.
Definitely do the cave snorkeling! Night life was only 10-20 minute walk. We felt very safe!

The property was great just what we wanted from a family getaway. The weather wasn’t great so watching Christmas tv in the sitting area with the family was perfectly cozy. The kids enjoyed having their own space and it was nice to have an adult area away from the. Kids.

We had a wonderful time at the condo and didn't have to think about anything, which means nothing went wrong : ) The perfect kind of vacation. Lillian was our point person and she was fantastic, always ready to help in any way from questions about the condo to organizing tours and rides. She is a gem. going from past experiences in Playa her and her team go above and beyond which is appreciated. The condo was well equipped and comfortable for our family of 5. It is nestled in the middle of the complex which actually makes it more quiet than some of the units closer to the beach clubs. We felt extremely safe, there was always someone present in the front for any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend!

Lilian, the concierge, is fantastic. She helped with requests for an amazing home cooked meal with a chef, birthday cupcakes for my daughter and airport transportation. She was quick to answer all of my messages.
We would have given a better review if so many maintenance issues had not occurred during our stay and the owner would have corrected the inconvenience.
-air conditioner went out over night
-ceiling leaked water all over an open suitcase of clean clothes
-main toilet did not work
-the condo turned off all our water over night and did not turn on until 11am and did not tell us
Everything was fixed quickly, but it really felt like one thing after another. The owner and Lilian offered an apology but no offer for discount for the inconvenience. I asked for a discount days ago and after much back and forth the owner offered a nominal amount of $200. This was days ago and there has been refund to my account at this time.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The Penthouse was bigger than we expected and came fully equipped. My kiddos enjoyed the board games and had a blast at the pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lilian did an amazing job , she had our groceries delivered and in the fridge by the time we were there. Made our vacation so much easier she’s truly an Angel!

We truly enjoyed this penthouse condo!! We have 4 kids and it was so spacious- especially for us adults with the primary bedroom on the second level. The balcony jacuzzi was a big hit too! Great views, and really close to pool and beach!! Unfortunately for us, there happened to be A LOT of seaweed in the water and on the beach, and they were doing their best to clean up the beach, but the water was pretty gross at times. That seemed to be the case everywhere around the area though. Luckily, we booked a few other adventures that didn’t just include the beach (booked through the VRBO people) and those tours were great fun!!! We all had a wonderful time, especially the kids, and I highly recommend that. Overall, great location, walkable to many restaurants and shopping, and easy communication with the managers. You won’t regret choosing this property!!

Amazing rental and trip
This was my first time using vrbo. The host Ana was wonderful, great communications, accurate description. Property was beautiful. And our concierge Lilian was amazing, she catered to our every need. Found us an amazing snorkeling tour, helped with covid testing, restaurant recommends, transportation and groceries. The property was so beautiful.

Great Location and Restaurants
The Elements is close to everything and their private beach area is well maintained and comfortable. Water was easy for swimming. The condo was really nice and beds were comfortable. It was easy to get to Walmart for grocery shopping and fill the fridge for breakfast and lunch. Lilian was excellent - we were missing a bag and she took care of everything to get it delivered the next morning. She organized an awesome private sonota tour and snorkeling. Well done and appreciated.

Awesome Find in Playa Del Carmen
We were very lucky to find this property after another property in Playa cancelled our reservation. The building is in a great location close to 5th Avenue, amazing restaurants and shops, and right on the beach. The apartment was 2 levels and spacious enough for 2 families with 3 kids. The top deck had a small warm plunging pool/tub. Both decks had views of the pool area and the beach. The pool and the hot tub were great. The beach area is private with a full service bar, beach volleyball, and an area for massage which we got to enjoy. Jorge, one of the beach staff, was very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Lilian the property manager was very accommodating and hospitable. We had welcoming cold beers and she checked on us a few times during our stay. She also gave excellent recommendations for activities. Both Lilian and the the owner, Ana Maria, were prompt on their response and great at communicating. We felt very safe. We had an wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back.

Great condo
Ana's unit has all the right accommodations. It's a perfect place to spend time with a group because it has so many comfortable areas to gather.
The location seemed to be a little bit outside the main tourist area of Playa but everything was easily accessible in walking distance. There is a beautiful restaurant row nearby on 38th that shouldn't be missed.
The pool area of the condo was really nice and protected from winds which were strong when we were there. The beach area is OK but, unfortunately, Playa is plagued yet again with the Sargassum issue which can create some noxious fumes on a windy day.
Lilian and Ana were both wonderful to work with - willing to help with any concerns we had with our travel plans and especially given the potential of COVID complications.
Lilian was also extremely helpful in getting groceries delivered on our first day and arranging travel for us to and from the airport.
We would strongly recommend this condo to families or groups who are looking for a slightly more urban experience in the Mayan Riviera.

Wonderful facility
We loved our stay in PH 8, The Elements. The condo was spacious and as advertised. Although we wanted a quiet family vacation, Lilian, our concierge was quick to respond when we contacted her. Especially liked Jorge, who opened the gates each time we went to the private beach. He always had a smile.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot
Our first time to PDC. The Elements PH8 was fabulous for our family of 4 - two teenage boys had a blast - 5 minute walk to 5 Avenida where there are plenty of restaurants, stores, and activity! The private beach is fabulous and Eduardo, the bartender at the beach club, is the best. The boys loved the fitness center on site as well. The PH is so spacious and love that there are 2 balconies and a large great room off the kitchen. We didn't want to leave! Ana Maria is a great host and Lilian an amazing concierge as well - provided us with everything we needed before and during our stay. Can't wait to go back!

Family Vacation
This was a perfect for for our family of 7. 5th Ave is a quick walk and staff was always available to help us book a taxi if we needed to go anywhere else. The PH was clean and had the amenities we needed. This was our first time in Playa del Carmen and we truly enjoyed it. Even though we had some rainy days we were able to order food and enjoy some games. Thank you to Lilian the concierge for helping us through the process.

Great Quiet Spot close to town, away from crowds
We loved our stay here. The place is clean, easy to use and quite spacious. The concierge was helpful. Wifi was reliable. We never watched TV. The pool is great.
The property owner was generous with amenities like towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, drinking water, etc.
This is on the quieter end of town, but a short walk to the all of the action.
A quick note: the building requires you to wear wristbands, which have a cruise ship vibe. Touts in town know which wristbands go with which buildings/hotels. They'll pretend to know you from when you checked in. That made us uncomfortable. We cut ours off and felt much safer.

Great location and size for our blended family vacation!
Property is located close to the Main Street where all the shops, restaurants and entertainment can be found. We enjoyed the pool and great views from the balcony…. You also feel safe in secure. Since we spent half our week long stay driving to and from Cancun and Tulum, staying in Playa was a great spot. Lilian our concierge was extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this condo!

What you see online, is what you get
Sometimes when trying to choose a place online, the description can be vague or misleading photos. NOT this place! It was fantastic! Located at the Element, the atmosphere and location was ideal. The property and penthouse are both very clean. The penthouse was above expectations and very comfy! We love the location because you’re so close to the beach & 5th Avenue/downtown is easy to get to. There’s a 7-11 across the street so it made getting most supplies simple. Lilian, the property manager really helped us out with tips, things to do and transfers at very reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely 3 bedroom stay.

Pleased with our Stay!
The unit and location worked great for me and my 2 other friends. The beach was quiet and nice. The pool was wonderful. All the people there were very nice. There were very good eating places in a short walking distance. We would certainly stay there again.
