it was nice that it was located on a river. There is a great restaurant right around the corner serving delicious ramen soup

- It was clean - Location was good - I had everything I needed: bed, washing area, shampoo and body soap, coffee, tea, kitchenware etc.

- There was no laundry machine - Otherwise reslly good!

Really nice place – great location, has everything you might need in its tiny kitchen, clean and the owner is really helpful. Perfect choice for a short Fukuoka gateway!

The owner/manager is really friendly with everyone.

The only thing that I didn't like is the shower could have been a bit warmer. But then, it seems that I enjoy hotter showers than most people.

There isn't any places to put clothes

The showers were amazing and the place was super clean. It is super close to the bus station, train station, etc. and has a nice, inexpensive supermarket just down the street.

I stayed in many places in Fukuoka and somehow this place felt the most cosy and comfortable. I had a private room and it felt like home. The owner is very warm and friendly. He will definitely help you if he can.

The location was good, near the major road and easy to get to from Hakata Station. The private room's bed was so big and comfortable! It really feels like a bedroom and not just a walled partition.

Well, the problem was also because it was near the road. So you can hear the cars and noise from outside when you try to sleep. They also don't accept credit card, so prepare some cash.

Nice owner who speaks English very well (since he's actually Taiwanese). We talked Asian politics and he gave me some tips on traveling to Nagasaki. The double room's bed is two twins together, making a king-sized bed and there are electrical outlets on both sides. There are many throw pillows including one for sitting upright. The toilets are in separate rooms from the shower rooms and the sink is external to both. Free tea and coffee including in the double room, which also has mugs and a kettle. Free water dispenser in the 1st floor kitchenette. Reception/lounge area has a map of the town with attractions and suggestions marked. There are also travel-related pamphlets and books available. A coffee shop and a bakery are next door.

Sleeping units are on the 2nd and 3rd floors; only 2 bathrooms and one is located on the 1st floor -- apparently most people will use the other bathroom on the 3rd floor because it doesn't feel as disconnected from the sleeping quarters. Bathroom traffic might be an issue with a full house but from inside the double room on the 3rd floor I never heard bathroom use. Towels aren't provided for free but available for ¥100. In the double room, the curtains above the bed don't reach the bottom so some sunlight will enter the room if you need total darkness to sleep. Clean room, though soon after I arrived and turned on the air conditioner, I saw a large, slow spider near the door. Maybe it entered from a door gap and liked the cool temperature or maybe it was already in the room but I squashed it regardless 😁
